Will a 10000 word article rank better?

I've read it somewhere that an ideal length of article is somewhere around 1500-2000 words. However there are many other factors that may contribute to its ranking. Its not just the length of the article but also the quality.

Yes, backlinko and buffer and other SEO resources PROVE that LONG FORM content has more visibility in search results

For blog I usually write 500-3k words. However for landing page and products review at least I write 7k words.

For blog contents rank or not I don't care so much. I write provided for real human, if my visitors like my contents, then automatically the search engine will like it too.

For landing page or product review need to explain details as I can,.so it always be loooong contents. And yes the conversation never disappointed me.

10k words article is written for search engine not people. people wont read that much unless he is doing his research for PhD.

I usually create 3-4k words content, sometimes 5k if there is really enough useful and interesting information that can bring real value to the readers. Like someone have stated above 10k words content is really not so much for the human readers but more for the search engine since most people won't have enough time and patience to go through such a big piece.
The first and most important rule I always follow is how can I create content that will drive real value to readers and answer their questions better than the other articles ranking on top places for particular keywords.

Also, I have found that everything depends on the niche. If it is one where you have 1-1.5k words content ranking on top then you don't need to create 4-5k articles.

Just use what is already proven to work and rank and make your content even better.

10 000 is way too much. I would say that 5k is the absolute maximum, while around 3k is about right to maximize the page without overdo it.
