Wife has given up on Google

Lol back at you.

If you read my OP you'd see that's exactly what I did. MIght be an idea to read the thread before writing stuff out of context. Original search query was very specific.
Like I don't know how to use a search engine...feck in hell
This video was made in response to a post halfway down the first page of this thread when someone suggested the keyword in the video would have been better - and it wasn't much better at all.

Like i said, i honestly meant no offence, i wasn't saying you didn't know how to use a search engine, i was saying that perhaps your wife should have tried some other searches if she didn't already.. anyway no biggie

No problem. :)
Yeah wife is very good with searches. She finds most of my audio book torrents for me. She has no idea about SE's in general, but she knows when to tighten up or loosen the search phrase to get more or less results.

@bertbaby lol - yeah they call him Mr Fixit!

Personally I cannot use Google natively unless I am doing advanced commands like site: , inurl:, -negKeyword etc
Other than that, I'm 100% on the Blekko train; sometimes I even use Scrapebox as my search engine :)

I have no idea what Google is upto these days but some of the search results are a f$%king disaster. At times I switch to Yahoo, don't really like Bing that much.

I find it humorous that you don't realize they share and utilize the same engine to serve up results.

Yea, I have trouble finding what I want since the changes. It wastes time as I have to think about what else
I can add to the search string that is related to what I'm looking for. Annoying.
