Wife and I need help please

OP, you're lucky, this thread called out to all the top BHW member.. Lying or telling the truth? i seriously don't care. but i would love to help advice you.. (not providing $$$ or you sending me any)

What type of store do you have? what do you sell?
Which business are you good at?

There are several questions YOU need to ask yourself before venturing into the unknown world..

Emm, Listen to Leith, he is telling you the absolute truth

Now here is my reply. If you are struggling then you can start by writing content. I believe it's the easiest and fastest way to earn money. You are English Speaker and you wife too. Let's say both of you give 3 hours/day for content writing.

1 - Normally it should take you 20 minutes maximum to create a 500 word article. Research and Re-Write.
2 - 3 Articles/ Hours * 3 Hours = 9 Articles. You and your wife, this is 18 Articles / day
3 - Garbage 500 Words article costs 5$. As you get better you can reach 10 and 15$ / Article
4 - 5 * 18 = 90$ / day ---> 2700$ / Month

I don't know where you live but I believe 2700$ is more than enough for stable living.

Now let's move to Stage 2 : Converting this into passive income

1 - Spend 2 - 3 hours daily learning all about : Keyword Research, On-Page Optimization & SEO
2 - Slowly start moving from writing articles to other into writing articles to your website
3 - You should already have a great knowledge about writing content, good keywords ( as people you write for are providing you with their best results ) , you will get a feel what is really working
4 - You need 10 days to write 100 Articles to your website ( While your wife is taking care of the service). Don't ever abandon your old source of income without you have a stable new one

Ideally a well Keyword Researched website, with good on-page optimization and slight work of SEO should bring you those 2700$/month passively. Check Bluematter and other successful journeys and learn from them

Once you have a successful website bringing good income, repeat the process, outsource, scale and you are good to go

Now, you asked for a step by step method and I gave you one, but I know you won't follow it. Why? Because you could have found it easily with minimal reading about IM instead of asking here.

I just told you so that no ones says BHW isn't providing help for those who need it :D

PS: Please, don't send me messages asking question. If you need anything, ask in the thread

Good Luck

Honestly, that's what I call a cool story bro. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copy and pasted it to word, saved on my hard drive, backed it up on a jump drive, drove to the bank, put the jump drive in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 12 (when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I'm showing them), when I will pick it up, put it in an old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them, "kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like...not like the stories your generation tells.
LOL Thats nice!!

search what your competition is doing and duplicate it, if you already own a business this shouldn't be hard for you cause you been there and done that. Search tools on this forum that could help you with keyword research and spying on your competition, also expand your inventory with other products with less competition (easier said then done but possible). sell on different websites (ebay, amazon, etsy ect) you'll be charged a fee but you'd be expanding your store to different consumers (also build a ecommerce site if you don't already have one). Hope this helped

Don't let those tears fall into your keyboard or that will be another expense you could do without.

I just need some starter, kindling step by step that I know is going to work.

I suggest this is your problem, because I've seen this movie before.

You've had 18 years to do something and to start your recurring passive income stream, but you've been paralyzed because you've been looking for guarantees of success - you don't want to do something unless you know it's a 'sure thing'. And, because the pain of not doing something hasn't been strong enough to get you to do something, you've finally arrived at a point where the fruits of your inaction have ripened, and your income is rapidly drying up.
You now perhaps accept (at least, logically) that you NEED to do something, but that knowledge is made somewhat bitter by the fact that you also know you could have done something years ago, but you didn't.

The only thing that leads to reward is risk. If you do not take a risk, your rewards will be in short supply, as you're now experiencing. I would add, though, that I take the view your current business is FAR riskier than any online venture you could entertain, but that's entirely subjective.

The only thing you can do now is to take calculated and intelligent risks, perhaps a few at a time, and look for an improved situation as a result. Yes, it's a bad time for you to take risks, because just keeping your lights on is probably a battle for you now, and yes it's going to take much longer for you to scale up because of your now limited resources - however, your only other alternative is to stop what you're doing and die - and that's kinda boring.

Consider your current situation a blessing in disguise - if you decide to get through it (rather than giving up and telling yourself and the world stories as to why you did so), you will most likely end up with an income and lifestyle that far exceeds what you've had for the last 18 years - because you now no longer have the option to wait for a 'sure thing', and you must do something, and that might just lead you to taking the right kind of risk that will reward you.

A member here (trepanated, I think) has a signature that reads: The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now. I think that applies to you as much as anyone else - it's not too late for you to plant a tree, but it will never again be the 'perfect time', so waiting for that will just end badly.

Remember that your resourcefulness is far more important than your resources.

If you do decide to take action, I'll be glad to have a skype call with you once a week for 30 minutes and give you the cold hard truth as I see it, as I have done in this post. I won't give you any methods that are 'guaranteed to work', I won't tell you that 'you'll be fine', I won't give you or ask you for a cent, I can't even tell you exactly what to do - I'll just give you my opinion on where you're headed, and that might just be the wake up call you need. You probably won't like it, but if you have the ability to stomach it, you'll come out of this situation with a life that you probably don't currently think that you can achieve.

That's the best thing i've read in weeks.. made my morning cheerful!

OP, depending on what your shops sells, you could try selling on ebay also

Look on the bright side, at least it was not copied and pasted. His story was genuine and unique.

Wow. Powerful story mate. I sincerely hope you can find something that helps here. There are others that have much more experience and can probably help you more than I can, but if you have any questions I can try my best to answer them for you, feel free to send me a pm.

All the best

That's a great quote, but alas, I can take no credit for it.

Mine is 'Bite off more than you can chew - then chew like fuck!' - something that serves me well regularly.

I really like that tree quote though as it is something I learned a long time ago through experience.

There are many time in our lives that we look back and wish we had planted a tree 20 years ago. The trick is to make sure that in another 20 years time we don't do the same thing.

The important thing is not the looking back - it is using that reflection as motivation to take that action now.

What country are you in? Do you have any sales experience?

I am in the US and have tons of sales experience. Before being self employed I did all kinds of sales both in person and over the phone and my wife and I are in retail in an industry where we are very customer-centric.

since you already have an online store, i would recommand building social media audience related to the stuff you sell(on tumblr, youtube, twitter, facebook), and then be smart while driving that trafic to your website, that's the less time consuming thing you can do using bots and some services, and the more related to your set of skills i guess.

Since years many BHW'ers have already gave solution to your situation, google this site:blackhatworld.com "method'' :) , the ball is in your court now.

Please, can someone direct me on how to do this properly to create recurring passive income. I'm willing to do all the work and pay for everything. Just get me to a comfortable place with it and I'll share a royalty with you from what you help me earn. We can negotiate that out. I need to do this fast though, though we have income from our business, trends are unstable there and I do not feel comfortable relying on that income any longer.

Nothing personal but with your work experience you should know better of what society expects from you and value you need to produce, not like this post you made.

Quote from a film:

"Nice guy? I don't give a shit. Good father? Fuck you! Go home and play with your kids. If you want to work here, close."
