Hi All,

I published a video and got the following metrices after 6 hours of publishing

Video Length: 3:17
Average View Duration: 1:35 (48%)
CTR: 10%
Total Views: 80
Total Impressions: 434

Traffic Sources:

I am not able to understand why I am not able to get views on this video despite CTR and average view time seems satisfactory.

My Channel's total average view duration is 2:17 and the total ctr is 7% . Most of the videos are around 5 minutes long but this one is under 3 minutes. Does video duration have to do anything with this ?

The avg duration is not that good i think try to publish more videos and see what works

Its weird i feel ya, gettin the same vibes.. i even tryed making vides on old - new accs and some dont even get single view after weeks alrdy... even tho tags and stuff are optimised especially description since i use even tubebuddy to do that part, and check vidIQ free extensions part yet some who dont even have 1% of my tags and hashtags etc gain much more much faster with even less subs... unreal..

I wouldn't bet on consistency. I believe it is how fast you push out videos. Doesn't matter how good your videos are.

80 views in 6 hours isn't bad, but I get wanting more. While your CTR and watch time are good, maybe the video wasn't shown to a huge audience (434 impressions isn't a ton). Did you optimize the title, description, and tags with relevant keywords? Strong SEO can really help YouTube recommend your video to the right people. Also, under 3 minutes might be good for viewers, but the algorithm sometimes favors slightly longer videos (think 5-7 minutes). It's not a hard rule, but it could be a factor.

This might be because the channel is new . When the channel becomes aged, the stats will improve.

Yes, the SEO part is good. My video topic does not match the suggested videos that YouTube is recommending.

Yes, I have tried that, What I have seen is that videos(Suggested by YouTube) that are recommending my Videos don't match the topic. I don't know Why.

or you post content that is unfamiliar with your location

probably shadowbanned
No, Youtube is suggesting my videos, one of my recent videos got half a million impressions and around 50k views...but this is happening very less, after publishing 15-20 videos
