Why work hard your ass off for this worthless world?

In my country minimum wage is just 6000 unit. And even terrible family houses are starting from 3.000.000 and wrecked like cars are starting from 200.000 unit.

My grandpa was able to purchase too many houses, cars and things by just selling clothes in his little shop back then.

Everything is collapsed in this country. I am now an extreme minimalist person and I don't even purchase any thing for my room. All I need is a one plate of food. I also do 18/6 intermittent fasting so I don't even eat a lot anymore.

Is it worth to work for toxic bosses, managers and customers just to not starving, for just one plate of food? I swear even being a homeless person is much better and honorable.

This world is really fucked up. At the end of the day we are corpses anyway, so why hustle like a donkey just to be a slave?

Of course its worth to work hard. What else is left to do? Rot and die in a hole?

Your grandpa was not a crybaby like you in his prime and definitely not a minimalist, thas how he easily achieved those homes etc.

Yesterday I read another thread by you than now its hard to make money. Why give a F if its hard or easy, either way you should do it for yourself. Imagine if you die right now and meet God there laughing his ass off with your attitude and telling you how much did you lose by giving up to early and being a softie.

If we will all die in the end I prefer to die as a rich man and with no regrets in life than die like a useless person full of regrets.

About fasting its a sin not to fill your belly full of this world amazing food, but you cant eat if you dont work.

What do you want to do then? Rot in a hole thinking that we have to die and there's no benefit of working hard? It's not always about money. There's a lot more you can achieve.
 
Mate then skill up fight the whole world out there to enjoy the royalties to earn you have to grind .

Here in Poland average salary is 5000, flat starting from 500k, house 1mln+
Cars are cheaper, cause 20k for used one, but new 250k+

But what you can do with fcked world? People choosen than with social benefits and other crap. Goverments fcked economy because people wanted to have "free" education, healthcare, "free" money every month, benefits. The free market only reacted for massive amount of money not created with real value, work, business but printed.

Is it worth? Yes, you just need to find an idea how to work less and be better than stupid crowd in 9-17 jobs.

Here, the minimum wage is 920K units, while the lowest class car you can buy (new) is 83M. The ratio is 0.011. I'd have to work 7.5 years to buy a shitty car without spending anything.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence.

That's why mate you must to learn to "think in dollars" and separate your personaly economy from your country economy like I did years ago ;)
 
This is correct. Thinking in one's national currency is bad for many reasons, this topic is beautiful and complex actually. For someone with a different currency by default, thinking in dollars allows one to raise their standard. Many years ago when I began my journey, the amount of money I was making online was impressive in my local currency and that would make most feel comfy. However I was thinking in dollars and that amount meant only a very humble confirmation that it was possible to make money online, especially since my aim was very high for some reason or another.

Free stuff=higher taxes and then they complain the cost of everything too high.

find money globally make your business online with tier 1 country customer.
i also love crypto cause it add more option and opportunity.

anyway it's called living what works now doesn't mean will keep working. you need to keep improving and grow. just enjoy it, not like anyone will live forever

Not only about taxes, but also inflation. Because covid, goverments printed billions of dollars to save "workplaces". Because this money was never achieved with real work/business and value, it's spreading over the system and destroying money. What goverments are doing? More fckin money. Now in Poland we have energy price freeze, a lot of social for families to "compensate" inflation and they are giving more and more. This is everywhere. We will wake up with 50% inflation

The federal reserve is raising interest rates to bring inflation down to 2% but this will cause things in the world economy to break.

I don't know how in the USA, but when federal reserve is raising interest rates, then everywhere else national currencies are falling.
USA can destroy world economy but I don't think so if dollar die. It's the last currency that can die.
So it's good idea to "think in dollars" for BHW members, 99% work is online and income is in dollars. Just be happy, that your local currencies loosing value against strong dollar :)

My local dollar is stable because this local government borrows alot of foreign currency from the IMF but its not sustainable.
 
Yes, one need to earn in dollar as it is the strongest currency.

Not willing to work hard for a 9-17 all your life doesn't mean someone is useless. OP didn't stated is not going to do anything useful in this world, maybe he is doing some art or sport, or writing, or helping someone in another way, there are many ways to bring value in this world except working your ass off to buy a sports car and a lavish house.

Working a 9-17 is not being stupid, is the first thing someone can do before going entrepreneur/solopreneur, and have a stable income to keep the house until then.
