Why Tumblr Sucks

I just had 70 SFW tumblr blogs banned. They had all over 1k followers each and no affiliate links posted yet 
I was using them with private proxies and 3 accounts per proxy. I was using the TumblingJazz bot and i doing 200 +/- 50 likes and 180 +/- 20 follows a day along with 50 pics daily on every blog.
I think my mistake was that i was using the same 5 tags on every blog without changing the order of them.
I'm going back with 30 accounts with 30 private proxies now and let's see what will happen. Any tips?

I also use TJazz and had accounts banned but I did use affiliate links.
Try using 1 account per proxy and not posting to every account. If you had 70 accounts I'd post to 5 of them and simply reblog and like with the others.

Trying to post a message, but this system thinks it is spam. I hate this. Do I just word things like an idiot? I have had tumblr accounts removed for no reason. I'm tired of putting a ton of work into things that do not work such as tumblr and twitter. I've never had luck with this stuff (like the original message of mine on here that the bot thinks is spam.) WTF

Do they usually only ban if you're making money from ads or can you lose an account for other reasons? Like if you're posting youtube videos and getting views that make you money would that be something they may ban you for? I would think it wouldn't be but who knows, sites ban a lot more now.

In my experience they ban you if you're making money no matter what the method. Stay under the radar and have more accounts ready to replace the ones that are banned.

Reblogging other people's work and adding your affiliate code will result in less bans than posting your own content but you will still eventually get banned unless you include your link in 1 in every 100 reblogs so it's hard for them to see a pattern.

After doing some research for a new Tumblr journey, it seems their algo is geared to ban bot actions. There are ways to use their API, so I will test that route.

From my experience it is hard to get the accounts banned.
Maybe the main reason why tumblr mass ban someones accounts are browser cookies. Cleaning can be easily done with Ccleaner for example.
Some say it's IP as well. Not really sure about this. Few weeks ago tumblr restricted my access for 2 hours, after I logged in to 6 accounts one after the other from same IP. All accounts are still live.
On the other hand, even if I use the same IP but I clean cookies between logins, I get no limitation.
Just for safety I change IP between logins as well. Having a dynamic IP address can be beneficial.

Great thread and information. I get the use of popular # tags to help with the search. But what else should we do to get more followers besides the #tags? I did not know about the links.
