This question is for guys who have experience with pinterest...

some pins get no reach whatsoever, and they just stay that way. and some pins get 200-1k reach very quickly and then they just die and get no more reach!! this is so strange.

and i don't think if it's about copyright issues because i tried posting a popular video that already exists on pinterest and got 1k reach and 6 clicks. and also tried taking a screenshot of pics (which completely removes any copyrights because when you take a screenshot of an image it will have no metadata of the original one) and some of them got some reach and some didn't.... anyways i tried this and that and couldn't find any patterns, i even tried posting at different times of the day...

Does it happen for you too? have you found any solution/reason for this or is it just how pinterest works?

Honestly i have just used pinterest to get some ideas about my outfit. Never ever used to do some random stuff. Yes the traffic is good and it's a good point for social signal to your site though. I'll soon be trying it for the food niche, will update you if i get any positive results

Great

You get more impressions if your pin shows up in related pins. It depends on the title, desc & tags you use.

Everyone on Pinterest has same issues. I never found anyone with uniform reach. You need to select a few titles with high reach. Niche research helps in most cases to understand what works and what doesn't.

Because from the beginning of 2020, more then a year now, they started gradually to cut the free traffic.
So they put a "cap" on each account.

i asked some girl on pinterest and she said that she had same problems but only in the beginning! i think you have to reach some kinda tire 2 maybe?!

Well, I am someone who is experiencing this thing right now and not sure what to say as of now, all I can do is wait for some time.

Try making a few Idea pins and see how the reach goes. The few that I made from a few months ago are still getting impressions / engagements. Downside is that there are no direct link to the pages you want pinners to visit. To me, these pins are useless but Pinterest, for some reason, likes them.

actually all i'm doing right now are pin ideas :) i never posted any pins, i'll keep doing that and maybe try normal pins one in a while

You guys may try whatever you want but unfortunately free traffic from Pinterest era has gone

It depends on many factors, niches, keyboard, your pins....Etc

I'll be great if you can clearify more, cuz i tried tweaking my pins in so many ways and i couldn't find any pattern that makes a pin successful!, my guess is that it's just luck, because some pins got 500+ impressions and other pins which are the same idea as others and got 0 impressions!
