Why people use Forwarding email its just for any ruffles?

Some people are using nowdays at huge amounts of Forwarding email I dont understand what are the profit for this anyone can describe?

On Different situations email forwarding are used.
1) To avoid email quotes.
2) To avoid blacklist on main company domain.
3) To get updates on external domains like replies , reports ETC.,

There are benefits in forwarding but no loss.
