Why people do slave labor jobs?

Today the pressure is on, but we have a choice. Mankind can either lie down and give up, or we can use all of our productive skills and knowledge to work for better future.

Speaking from experience, I will never outsource again. If you have a good VA or outsource, keep them.

I will pay the extra $ and hire locally.

I leave ooodesk because of poor jobs. People from some Asian countries are doing $20/hour job for only $3/hour and because of those people and their cheap hourly rates we don't get those jobs.
(Those cheapos came to BHW too)
I would like to know views of BHW users on cheap jobs and why people prefer them?

Some worth mentioning jobs posted in BHW:
Well is simply because you ain't even a low skilled worker that works for 3 dollars an hour or a geek.Thats the plain truth, because you are just an overpriced worker that wants to get the client to pay those exorbitant prices .

Now this is how a geek sees that job description, let me feel you on that.

First, if you would have looked at the description you would have seen plenty of things that would raise interests on some geeks here, especially those that like to automate things. Look at the description of the job and you can find plenty to automate.

Code:
I need someone to signup and verify free hosting accounts
2-3 hours
Code:
Then to login to the control panels of each created account and to upload wordpress
1 hour and a half
Code:
, add database and install wordpress.
30-60 mins

Code:
Process takes approximately 20 minutes.
My way of doing it would take around 4-5 and half hours, ofcourse to code the whole bot.
but doing it the manual side would take 20 minutes per install all the way. To put a simple graph for those of you that can't seem to
understand that simply logic, like the OP, let me put it on a graph.

Code:
Then move on to next site.
Multithreading, anyone?

Code:
I need this on ongoing basis. I pay per successful install.
Mmmm... seems like a tempting offer, ongoing basis where I can simply benefit from running the bot once its made.Plus pay per install, I wonder if he would take hundreds or perhans thousands of installs per day. You know... to make it worthwhile at least.

Code:
You can easily do 20-30 installs per day, depending on how crafty/experienced you are with installs.
Ya... I can do that with a few minutes threading the shit out of it.

Code:
It is a no brain /data entry job. I will provide the list with sites and detailed instructions on every single step. Even if you have never done it you will know how to once you talk to me.
Ya my bot won't bitch, I assured you on that, it doesn't have the brains to bitch, yet I hope. On top of that, is all about coding it right and it will know how to do it hundreds , thousands , perhaps even 10's of thousands of time without human error.

Code:
Don't ask for some crazy figures
[\CODE]
ofcourse common business standards applies, how many do you want? The more you buy the cheaper it gets.

[CODE]Only requirement is person to speak english and have good internet connection.
Don't worry I did good on my SAT tests , those damn SAT's I don't know if they even helped me at the long run.Anyways I think I am good on the english part.

Code:
[U][B]I pay $1.25 per successful install.[/B][/U] If you do 30 successful installs, you will earn $37.5 per day.
We tested it and some accounts get suspended despite being ok on the first day.

Wow... now there is some money on that. Lets see, if it takes me 4-5 and a half to code the whole bot, and then the cost of proxies, a vps or a dedi if this is a fat customer, then I think it would be worth it to do it even for 1 dollar an hour, ofcourse that is using the selenium web driver on a cloud either private or public just running the same celery workers over and over and over.

Code:
[B][U]I will not pay for accounts that get suspended and only for ones which are active and I can login to after 3 days from moment they were created.[/U][/B]
Got it, you want good proxies to be used here.

Code:
I want people with good communication and which are not lazy.
I have good communications but am lazy that is why I automate, and I can't stand manual work when it can be automated.

Code:
Free hostings are pretty messed up, slow and sometimes crash. You need to be able to handle such situations and to have the nerves to do such a repetitive job.
Oh it is not even about that for me, is more about the proxies, a good vps or a dedi and some simple logging and monitoring mechanisms on place and its all good. Maybe a factory with thousands of virtual workers would be a great next project to present to the client. Why pay some overpriced 20 dollar worker who bitches and moan when you can simply hire a geek to replace him at a fraction of a cost.

For reals, think about it.
