I think Your rankings may fluctuate due to algorithm updates, content quality issues, backlink problems or technical SEO issues.

I think it's because of the algorithm changing constantly. If you're back at 1# spot without doing anything on your website then the algorithm changing is a very possible reason.

In my opinion, the issue could be due to Google's volatility with gambling sites, especially if there are algorithmic updates or compliance concerns. The site dropping to omitted results could be a signal of low trust.

That really depends on how long your website has been around in the first place; it could simply be what is referred to as a Google dance.

If your website is old enough, it could be concerning as it relates to updates, particularly ones that could have impacted content that was
procured through the means of artificial intelligence. In order to diagnose what the problem is, we would need more information.

It's one of the toughest niches. You should hire someone to do a paid SEO Audit imo

There are several reasons why your brand links might be omitted or not indexed by Google. Here are some common factors to consider:

  1. Quality of Content: Google prioritizes high-quality, relevant, and unique content. If your brand links lead to low-quality pages, they may be omitted from search results.
  2. Duplicate Content: If your pages have duplicate content that exists elsewhere on the web, Google may choose not to index those pages to avoid redundancy in its search engine results.
  3. Technical Issues: Ensure that your website does not have technical issues that might prevent Google from crawling and indexing your pages. This could include problems with your robots.txt file, noindex tags, or server errors.
  4. Backlink Quality: If your brand links are not receiving quality backlinks, or if they are linked from low-quality or spammy sites, it can negatively impact your search visibility.
  5. Site Penalty: If your site has been penalized for violating Google’s Webmaster Guidelines (e.g., through black hat SEO practices), your links may be omitted from search results.
  6. Lack of Authority: New or less authoritative sites may find it harder to have their links indexed. Building authority through quality content, backlinks, and engagement can help over time.
  7. Poor User Experience: If your website has a poor user experience (e.g., slow load times, mobile-unfriendliness, or intrusive ads), visitors may bounce quickly, which can signal to Google that your pages are not valuable.
  8. Brand Mention Without Links: Sometimes, your brand might be mentioned in content without active links. Google may include the mention in its knowledge graph but not as clickable links.
  9. Incorrect URL Structures: Ensure your URLs are structured correctly, are easy to read, and do not contain unnecessary parameters or complexities.
  10. Crawling Limitations: Google has a limited number of pages they crawl on a site, particularly new sites. Ensuring you have a solid internal linking strategy can help improve crawl efficiency.

This type of niche is very challenging, of course there are some reasons behind this like Google Algorithm update is frequently changing and can impact your rankings. Best way is to do Regular SEO audits, Optimize your content and improve the Technical SEO
