Why mods don't address the multi-account issues

Yesterday a couple of accounts got caught in a multi-account scheme and the mods were tagged in the post.

Instead of dealing with the people behind the scheme they locked the thread of the person who reported it:

However, no explanation was given... you always keep asking us for proof and most of the time you ask to provide evidence on an impossible scale without having the backend data... but the evidence is now public and undeniable and once it was provided the thread got locked.

At the same time, those sellers still keep offering their services.

What is the reason this was never addressed?

I too thought that mods will reply something before locking the thread or in a new topic but nothing happened.

I have no issues them locking threads, but they should have cleared the air to some degree.

Could just be that the accounts are still managed from different fingerprints, so they can't for sure connect the accounts.

There's always the possibility of some people doing these kinds of manipulations to try and get a competitor banned.

Could be the case indeed, but one of the accounts should be banned at least in such a case,
It can't just be ignored... People are spamming like hell, obviously useless AI posts, introduction, HAF, & WTB sections...

a while ago I tried to report this kind of issue and they said that having more than one account is not against the rules, I assume it's allowed if you are not gaming the forum or trying to harm your competitors

Could be, but, these two accounts actually go way back. First red flag is them posting same marketplace picture here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/media/lf2g1zokhngjdf4vwlwg-jpg.593/ & https://www.blackhatworld.com/media/whatsapp-image-2023-10-19-at-10-56-47-jpeg.2121/ in 2023. Not to mention that they always reply to Threads in same time slot.

At worst key scenario, if found "guilty" they have been gaming the forum for years.

I've seen someone reply on behalf of the original seller. But the guy responding was hired as a VA by the seller. Could've been the case here?!

As far as I know, you can have a buyer account and a seller account.

You can't have multiple seller accounts selling the same stuff, if I am wrong here then hopefully mods can come and let me know.

Report this on the ticket.

They took down 3 accounts in 4 days after i reported.

I think when done in ticket they get to investigate and that's the proper channel.

We lock threads for a reason that we can't talk about. Please, next time, report it as some of the members above have stated.

Just wanna mention really quick that actions are being taken against the accounts. So it does not go unnoticed and I really appreciate everyone who is taking time to report such things.
