I'm a member of Fiverr for 4 years, and i have noticed the last year i do not get any more as much order as before.
Maybe people stop using fiverr?

I have actually thought about offering service on fiverr. Offering solid service at a medium range price point and just doing a kick ass job. Seems to me with all the irresponsible sellers doing low quality work, you could stack some cash if you offer quality services and are consistent with it. Offer the same service to users that you want when you order and you should do ok.

It's the same on Upwork for some reason. Upwork is rolling out https://www.upwork.com/services/, so that could be the case also.

too many gigs offer the same services,
competition is way too high there.

wanna level up is high now a days

I stopped using fiverr because sellers are liars and / or unprofessional. Just 2 months ago I have purchased 30k traffic (bot traffic, obviously but I knew that anyway) for $5 for 1 month and after 2 days of inactivity I had to contact the seller asking what's wrong and when she will start my campaign. She's come up with excuses upon excuses and dragged the start of my campaign for 5 days until she finally started it but even then she only used 1 of the 2 URLs I gave her (which we obviously agreed on before me placing the order), and even so she delivered around 200 hits per day instead of the 1000 hits per day that her gig promise. And I didn't even mention the 10 secs average duration of the (fake) visitors instead of the 60 secs that she's promised me prior to placing the order.

And that's only the most recent example. Over the last 2 years I have purchased gigs that have promised logo creation with unlimited revisions but which have never been honored, logo creation with complete file delivery which I never received, press releases with guaranteed inclusion in whatever directories that never happened, PBN backlinks that never existed, and so on. Fiverr is nothing but a scheme... at least in the internet marketing / SEO / make money online niches. But these are the only niches I'm interested in, so....

Too many sellers have the same gig. Only a few quality sellers.
Fiverr $2 charge irrespective of the gig price is bad. I won't pay 40% fee for a $5 simple gig.

good point, I forgot about that, but this bothers me, too since most of my gig purchases are for the basic package ($5)

don't get shock " some seo service " seller use fliverr services to flip here ???

To be honest, I didn't stop using Fiverr, it's just that currently there is a lot of low-quality users who promise a lot and delivers shit to you in final results.
But there are still many great sellers who do their job well.

Good find...

I lost interest in fiverr as over last two years they have become pricey while the quality is of $5 gig, and if you order pure $5 gig, they are mostly by newbies.

The biggest irritating factor is when you send a question to a seller, they will say i have read your requirement , i will be professional .. you will get great service bla bla bla.. Man.. Just answer my question. When i say this they will say place the order sir i will give satisfactory service. Its almost impossible to have a conversation.

It's the same on Upwork for some reason. Upwork is rolling out Fiverr-like feature, so that could be the case also.
It's just that there are too many freelancers joining Upwork everyday. Typical Supply-Demand situation. Clients have more options.

If you are fast in bidding, have a kickass profile and use strategic proposal templates, on average you'd get 2 responses out of 10 bids you submit and close one of them. It's just a numbers game now.

It's probaly just their unpredictable algo and/or compettion is getting stronger. Also there are services, which sell well for a while, then they won't anymore. Are you sure, there's still a demand for the services you sell?

It's not like Fiverr would be dying or something: https://investors.fiverr.com/press-...es-Fourth-Quarter-and-Full-Year-2019-Results/. This is data regarding to 2019, there's a 48% revenue increase compared to 2018. Active buyers went from 2M to 2.4M. Average yearly spending per buyer went from $145 to $170. They were predicting a 30-32% revenue growth for 2020, although i'm not sure how the covid-19 situation affected them. Probably it had the same effect as in the camming industry (more performers started to stream), an influx of sellers appeared outta fucking nowehere, which is an increased competition obviously.

haha that is true, i'm a seller on fiverr but sometimes i also buy service from others when i need them and almost all of them just copy/paste the answer. When i was applying to buyers request i started answer the question and also including some details from their request, and that worked for me.

some of the sellers dont even reply back for any further queries regarding the Gig.
