Why is ZennoPoster better than uBot?

nuaru is funny
As quoted from your main landing page
"all-in-one solution for SEO tasks automation. Get rid of routine with the help of ZennoPoster!"

I find this funny in that while you make claims of the above stated on your site you cant get proper SEO proof for your own site. If you make the claims back them up with proof or all it is, is false claims as a marketing tactic.

I already got such nonsense, then I said something like this:
Yes, we do not do SEO for our own site by conventional methods because do not consider it necessary.
Tell me, lowridertj, do uBot owners promote own site?
Yes: then why alexa rank of ZennoLab.com, (which one is not promoted) better than ubotstudio.com (which one is promoted)?
No: it means you should be thinking that something is wrong here and, perhaps, there might be some reasons, since we do not promote sites. (I mean we and ubot)

Now since we've began our affiliate program, I can add:
Any partner can promote own site to sell ZennoPoster as it sees fit. If something isn't finished in the promotion - our partners are making it and get a good profit.
Well and we, respectively, get benefits from it. So if you see any opportunities, do not miss them.

Mind you I purchased Zenno and had it refunded after countless wasted hours trying to learn (watching videos that are provided, and purchasing videos and tutorials) it is way to complicated and is not very user friendly.

lowridertj, you bought our software on March 3, refand made on March 5.
"countless wasted hours"?! Have you been playing with ZennoPoster during 2 days/nights without sleep or repose ?

Where could you buy video tutorials if then no one to sell them? A little over a month as we came on the world market, no one then did English videos and tutorials except us.

By the way, from this time of training videos has become much more.
Have you tried to figure out yourself? You could write at any time to our support. May be you wrote a lot of emails to our support, but had not got any reply?
Let's look at your correspondence with our support:

lowridertj:
"I wish for a refund at this time as I am unable to get any type of support previously asked for and no response, as well the documentation on how to operate the problem is not available as per the automated email received after purchase.
Please refund my money and cancel my license."

ZennoLab support:
"Dear *private info*
We are really sorry that it happend. Unfortunately, we've not recieved any messages from you before.
May be it was related with issues on the mail server. Please don't worry anyway.
We're ready to help any time when our customers need it. Also you may use Skype to contact us. Our skypeID: support_zennolab.
Please let us know what question we've not replied."

lowridertj:
"I already purchased different software and would just like a refund at this time. "

lowridertj, AREN'T YOU ASHAMED?

By the way, as I see in the admin panel, I forgot to lock your license and you wrote down license a month ago. Good for reminding me.

One last time - You are both misguided. The person you're talking about hasn't been with UBot in 8 months, and we had very good reason for removing him. It's not a surprise that he's giving you misinformation.

Please be more specific, his nickname in your forum, maybe we are talking about different people.

We removed the spam from our forum. We aren't Microsoft deleting claims about Apple here. We were deleting outright shilling from our forum, which is for UBot users. We're not going to go stand outside your store with a sandwich board for UBot.

We have on our forum more than 30 posts in which people mention uBot - it's
OK people communicate and ask different questions.
On your forum there are only 3 posts mention ZennoPoster - obvious after censorship, you rub inconvenient for you posts related with ZennoPoster.
At least this fact with the count of posts related with ZennoPoster on your forum gives away you.

Who you're referring to is a long-time UBot user. We didn't ask him to make these posts, but we did ask him to remove them after we saw them.

This is not just a "long-time UBot user", a second person on your team after the creator uBot . Here is my response to him.

Strange, What part of FB cant be automated? I was able to automate what i needed to do on FB using the demo of zp
shaddelick, I heard that it's impossible click "add to the group" button, it's going to be fixed in next version.

Welp, just discovered that multiple anti-virus programs detect trojans in ZennoPoster...
Take a look at this thread

Our translator goes on vacation for a while and I won't be able get to interact on the forum this time.
luminus, you told quite a lot of words, but words are nothing.
Let us now show the affairs on who each of us is capable of.

I've been using Ubot for a while now, and it has been a very disappointing experience. It is insanely buggy, and missing features it really should have. I can't write a single bot without running into one or more bugs that roadblock the progress. It has a lot of potential, but right now it is a mess.

I think in a few months it will be much better, there are some really cool things about Ubot, but it is just a pain to use and filled with bugs and performance issues.

Zennoposter is NICE. They just need to fix a few things, such as making it easier to fix broken templates and the e-mail issue.

Support is very responsive and professional, not at all like XRumer. A shame that they don't want to add function to .exe bots. That's the only reason one can consider buying uBot instead. In the future when uBot becomes just as good as Zennoposter, .exe compilation will be the winning selling point for uBot. But right now Zennoposter is much better...

selling .exe bots gives you some bucks now, but will harm the niche of that very bot instantly and all the internet on the long run. But I think most uBot users know that, they just don't care.

That's bullshit, if that was the case there would be no software on the planet.
Tools are tools, sure you can overuse and ruin a good technique, but that blanket statement is a load of crap.

I'm really sorry it's been difficult for anyone to use UBot. Our users have been incredibly helpful by reporting any issues they run into. Our dev team has been doing a great job and has the majority of bugs that are reported cleared up in short order. I've only ever heard of one refund due to bugs, and that person posted later in the UBot Underground that within two weeks they had re-purchased ! And they were annoyed that they spent two weeks without it.

If you have a feature you'd like us to include in a future version, please, let us know! PM me or post it on our forum.

All your feedback is taken to heart. Thanks,

Jason

The forums are littered with people complaining about the bugs and issues with v4 and that they are fed up with it.

Being that they're forums, that's a little like saying that the suggestion box is filled with suggestions. :o

V4 is being worked on very rapidly to improve issues that are reported through the channels that are monitored. If we hear about it, we will fix it!

You can spin it that way and blow smoke up my ass, but many of the core long time users are bitching and moaning right now how bad it is. Eddie has been fixing a lot of bugs but as fast as one is fixed, two more show up. Even features that were advertised as the core advantage of v4 don't even work as advertised. For example starting/stopping a YouTube video blows up and that was in the v4 teaser video.

I like what I can do with Ubot, but v4 has been a disaster, and Ubot Studio just keep acting like it is the best thing since sliced bread when even Seth has said privately to others it isn't ready for anything serious.

Compiled bots? Don't even work reliably, you distribute it to 10 machines and 4-5 machines have problems.

In 2-3 months, v4 will likely be a great product, but it has so many issues it makes the jokes about Microsoft releasing buggy software not very funny.

I have been using Ubot for a loong time now and while I do like the program I have to admit that Version 4 seems to be quite a ways off from all of the fuss that I hear about it. (IMO)

Just as a word of advise I wouldn't really judge Ubot based on it. You'd do better using the last stable version of the software. It pretty much does everything that it is advertised to do and if you give it some time it can proove to be pretty cool. (Aside from the obvious lack of multithreading capabilities.)

In the end I really think them releasing version 4 which is in "beta" but charging customers for the update to play with it was just bad form and is going to cause Seth and the team a lot of trouble in the long run. It's pretty much the same kind of thing microsoft does. Would have been better to just release it once it was fully functional to save the company some hassle, but hey - that's just my two cents..

In the case of zennoposter, what can I say? I just didn't get it.:o It may be a great piece of software but for the most part it just seemed like it got a bunch of hype from all of the blackhat boards -(here/******,etc..) for no reason. Then again maybe it's me and I just didn't get it.

At the end of the day I got tired of Ubot's limitations and waiting on the staff to make updates so I could do what I wanted to and figured if I was going to go through the trouble of learning to use something zenno poster I may as well take the time to learn a real programming language on my own. (Best decision I have ever made.):yumyum:

The real shame to me in this whole thread though is that the Ubot team and the Zennoposter team aren't working together to fill in the gaps that each company is missing. :( Something like that could be truly amazing and change the way we we market online for good. Oh well, one can dream I guess..:p

I'm UBOT's user and nоw i'm testing ZP as well.. herе'ѕ mу short review/comparison:

- Learning Curve : UBOT
Ubot team create а vеrу easy tо learn UI, іt really dead simple and easy to follow

ZP comеѕ wіth 3 program, еасh hаѕ іtѕ оwn UI, lots оf panel/icon, уou neеd mоrе hours (i tоok аbout a half day) tо understand thе UI

But do notes, UBOT's easy to uѕе system сould make аn inconvinience experience aѕ well.. aѕ UBOT 3.5, іt works wіth node.. the problem іs уou only bе ablе to drag the node onе by оne (you cаn't copy/paste multiple node) if уou wаnt tо rearrange/optimize your bot.. and thаt verу time consuming іf you have hundreds оf node.. thе only роѕѕiblе solution rіght now іѕ usе subs fоr еverу independent routine... that reduce the node tо manage significantly.

- Manual аnd Documentation : UBOT
This cоuld bе becauѕe UBOT has been recognize sіnсe 2009 whіlе ZP launch thеir english section in lеѕѕ than а year, so we could find а lot more tutorial and sample in youtube, blogs, etc.

- Price and Features : Zenno Poster
This іs wherе UBOT fall, theіr 'easy tо use' system сomeѕ with mоrе limitation compare with ZP. You hаvе tо get the Professional level tо gеt the most power fоr a profesional bot (it cost $495, еspecіаlly whеn уou dо a lot of regex and scrape) whіlе on othеr site EVEN ZP's lite version (at thіs time оf writing is $49.. its 50% discount) саn dо more thаn Profesional version оf UBOT.. thеy еvеn hаve inbuilt Regex Editor (i сonsidеr it аѕ lite Regex Buddy software.. )... the solution is mоre limitless compare wіth UBOT

- Community : UBOT
The mods and admin are very supportive, thеу sоmetіmеs even build uѕ thе bot sample іf wе get stuck... while аt thіѕ time оf writing, а simple question оf mine hаѕn't bееn answered for 3 days at ZP's forum.. i thіnk thеy nееd mоrе human resource tо help thе community

- Commerciality/Delegation Process: UBOT
UBOT havе capabilites tо build .EXE which meаn you cаn sell оr delegate thе bot to 3rd party (i еvеn build a bot for mу wife, to check our ѕеvеrаl оf our family account from internet banking.. love automation !). On the otherside ZP's uѕе template and yоu onlу can run 1 instance рer license tо dо thе posting. If уоu work yourself, thаt ѕhоuldn't be а problem... but if you lіke mе you'll hаve problem with licenses

I reаlly don't have suggestion tо choose betwееn ubot and zennoposter rіght now, UBOT is simple and fast creation, ZP іs mоrе powerfull @ reasonable price...

if you'rе on budget, уou уou'll get аn awesome tools @$49 wіth the capabilites оf $495... but уоu have tо commit to study patiently...

While with $495.. уоu'll have а great tools to play with.... easy tо learn... fast creation..

First, I really do apologize that you've run into issues. I know as a longtime user it's frustrating. And we are committed to making sure that every single problem gets resolved. I don't know exactly what "blow up" means, but here is a video of a UBot Studio 4.0 youtube bot functioning via Image Recognition - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpus4Cf-I6o

I just made it. That video includes the scripted bot and the compiled bot running.

If you mean the visual issue, that's being resolved but in terms of function it doesn't affect the actual performance of the bot. It IS an issue, though.

I like what I can do with Ubot, but v4 has been a disaster, and Ubot Studio just keep acting like it is the best thing since sliced bread when even Seth has said privately to others it isn't ready for anything serious.

Seth IS UBot Studio, so that statement is confusing. He hasn't said anything publically or privately other than what I'm saying, which is that version 4.0 is a huge leap forward, and any bugs are resolved as quickly as possible. I understand your frustration about any problems you've encountered, but the fact is that most of the complaints are coming from a small group.

We sent an email to almost the entire customer base requesting their feedback - and all responses were positive despite any problems. "Disaster" is strong language for some bugs in a program that has probably already saved most of its users well more than its cost!

Again, if anyone reports an issue via the proper channels it will get resolved. If they complain about it on forums, we will pay attention, but the speed with which we can respond will be much slower.

Compiled bots? Don't even work reliably, you distribute it to 10 machines and 4-5 machines have problems.

Any issues that are reported are fixed as soon as possible. Your time-frame seems completely estimated based on - what? I am sure the software will be improved in 2-3 months, just like it will be improved in 2-3 weeks. We have a dev team to make sure this happens.

We appreciate your thoughts on using 3.5, which is, frankly, a fantastic program. But UBot 4.0 is essentially a completely rewritten program. And it is, of course, being improved for stability very quickly. In terms of cost to current users - It's like the difference between Windows Vista and Windows 7, which no one would expect to get for free.

However, our users DID get it for Free. Anyone with a valid license did not have to pay for the update. And anyone without a valid license only had to pay $4.99 a month, which is well below the actual cost of development and continued support.
Not sure where your information is coming from.

Our software is targeted at different markets. And despite our best efforts at congeniality, the negative responses from the Zennoposter team are practically legendary here. Hopefully that will improve in the future.

I appreciate your careful review. It's definitely true that you need Professional for certain features. But I don't understand your price comparisons.

Your comparison ignored some features of each, and used a "discounted" Zennoposer price compared to an undiscounted UBot Studio price.

We stand by our prices and have for years, based on the benefits of the software and the needs of the market.

That being said, there's simply no comparison between ZP Lite and UBot Professional.

Multithreading, Image Recognition are just two examples.

If you need a fully-functioning Regex, it's in UBot Studio's Standard version.
If you need to scrape - it's also in our Standard version. A more advanced scraping function is available in Professional.

Also, with a coupon, our Professional version is significantly cheaper than the $495 you mentioned.

However, your descriptions of the software as easy-to-use are right on target :)

I never received any survey for my feedback.

You say only a small amount of users are complaining, this may be true but most still using 3.5 and that small amount of users you refer to is a large percentage of the users actually participating in the forums and it is your die hard ubot fans. Even your forum admin (UbotBuddy) has stated much the same.

"dev team" is quite misleading since it is only one person as Seth doesn't really code anymore. Eddie is good but it is a bit much for one person.

Image recognition is very unstable and problematic right now. Sure you can get one thing to work once in a while but under real use it doesn't work reliably.

You're just angry that my bots work and yours don't ! ;)

Just kidding. Sometimes I feel that we get too hard on each other.

We are here to support your bot-making efforts and appreciate all the feedback you have, and continue to stand by our software.

Those users you mention are extremely helpful because they give us the feedback we need to fix any issues. But we do agree that the group experiencing problems is small, and shrinking.

I don't agree as it seems to growing and it small only because most still using 3.5 and/or not really forum users. I hope it changes as I own a dev license but it is how it is right now.

If I wanted to waste my time I could paste over 100 threads from your forum supporting my statements.

Rather than argue who is telling the truth I'd like Seth to actually step up and say how this is going to change moving forward.

I'm actually not getting my information from any third part sources whatsoever. I'm not interested in getting into any type of argument here or anything but I don't want to be told that I am wrong or lying about something that I know I am not.

You are correct in that the charge was basically 5$ a month for getting to use the "beta" version of Ubot 4 however, but as I said I think it was a pretty bad idea to let anyone use it at all when it isn't ready as of yet. I hear alot of stuff about how great it is but the fact remains that I can't do half of the stuff with it that I can do with 3.5 reliably.

In any case, I don't want to get into a rant about the negatives with Ubot here, I understand that the staff is small and the company isn't the biggest in the world so I give you guys the benefit of the doubt for the most part even though there's a lot of things that I feel weren't handled right regarding customers and upgrades since I bought it in March 2010.

All in all Ubot is definitely a solid product in my opionion though and I am definitely on you guys side here.

I personally would never buy Zennoposter based on the way that nuaru speaks to people here on this board who either are current or potential customers. IMO that is just totally unacceptable and if I can't say anything else in the defense of Ubot I can say that I have never had to deal with those sort of things. Even when I felt they may have been wrong everyone on the ubot staff has been very professional about how they deal with customers so for what it's worth (OP) I wouldn't even waste my time on zennoposter just based on the way that the Dev interacts with the software's users.

Support is also something you want to consider when purchasing a new product and in this case Ubot clearly wins in that respect.

I have seen some of Nuaru's comments and threads, he is certainly not a people person. Not the best person to be handling the public relations of the company.
