Why is PayPal doing this to me?

and that's why I am against monopolies. We (the entire mankind) are not responsible enough to hold power. Once we get it all we think about is destruction. If all these mobster companies (Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Samsung, Paypal, Amazon, Ebay, Mercedes, NASA, and all other 100s of multi-billion corps) got together and concocted a plan to save the planet and make every single individual on this planet happy they would achieve it in 10 years or less because - unlike their CEOs - most people are happy with only having shelter above their head, healthy food on their tables every day, clothes to put on, a common car, and $1000-2000 in their account to do as they please each months. And these things are easily achievable if you don't polarize the wealth into the hands of a few 1000s greedy pigs but rather use it to educate and treat people, and to protect the environment.

why crypto, though? There's dozens other payment processors that accept money (real money I mean), so why mention "crypto"??
It was just an example of payment without buyers protection. Can be anything else, really. I am spending a fuckton of money each month for digital purchases. Can you guess what payment processor we prefer using, especially when buying from someone who is not our partner for a long time? Can you guess why? You can be hating PayPal all day long, but the truth is that they offer a service, that people want, and this come with a price. Sure in perfect world sellers would deliver whatever you pay for, in time. But we don't live in such world. Just open th shit list section of the forum.

Paypal needs to be regulated. Imagine a legit bank would hold your salary or other transactions for 21 days.

The only question I ask myself is: Who the fuck are they? It is NOT their money. They are just the service provider, simple as that. But what happens is: They are the fucking police, judge, attorney, bank, etc. ALL IN ONE and they are the ones who decide what is going to happen with YOUR money. And now you say: "Oh, but they are a private business and you don't need to use them" - Well, these motherfuckers almost have a monopoly. If you don't use them, you lose customers.

Thts how Tesla gets money.

They drip-fed me my money over the course of 180 days once... fuckin bellends gave me a ration every month

Isnt buyer protection even more solid than gaypal when you pay with a debit/credit card?

Not really. Obviously depends of the bank and card provider, but usually is freaking pain in the ass - banks required signed documents, invoices, going there in person to made that request and whatnot in order to chargeback.
