Why is Karma Important?

I have farmed around 10k karma in a few days. I will use the account to promote an OF model. Do I need more karma, if I do, why do I need it. Does having 100k karma instead of 10k karma makes any difference?

I know I need some karma in order to post in majority of subreddits, but beside that are there other pros to having more karma than 10k?

Karma is important for two main reasons: gaining trust and avoiding moderation issues. While 10k is usually enough to post in most subreddits, higher karma often gives your account more credibility and can make it less likely to get flagged for spam. Some subreddits also have hidden thresholds where accounts with higher karma face fewer restrictions. That said, beyond a certain point, like 100k vs. 10k, the difference is more about perception than functional benefits

I understand that, my question is will reddit make your posts visible to more people if you have more karma. I am not talking about human factor here, only asking about reddit algorithms.
 
It's very easy to farm karma so I really see no point of having a lot of karma.
 
indicates that you are a active member, reputation that others agree with you and you are friendly and that you are a active member engaging with other reditors also can help you to avoid a insta ban most of the cases and you only get restricted, deleted post or temp bans not 100% sure but is better keep an active member that someone jsut creating an account and spamming the hell of content.
 
without karma your account has no reputation/quality and therefore you will not be able to post in most subreddits (as they just want to avoid bot/spam activity) and you will be banned more quickly for unusual activity. Meanwhile there is also CQS which you should pay attention to.

Do you think you need more?...if so, why do you think you need it? I think it's relevant in order to get you onto better access to other subreddit communities, however, be careful of getting shadowbanned for trying too hard...keep it real and relevant. Good luck

To answer the question strictly, no, reddit won't magically improve the visibility of posts or comments because you have more karma. If you look at posts or comments, the ones that are visible are the ones that get the most upvotes, no matter who wrote them.
 
Something important for continuity
 
There are some subreddit that requires a set number of Karma. I think 10k is enough already and you could focus on marketing already
 
The more Karma you have, the more respect you’ll get from the community.

I believe that having around 5-10k is already good and works for you bruh.

You don't need to kill yourself trying to get more and more; I think that's pretty unnecessary.
