Why is G00gle in bed with wordpress?

OK i know it likes 'current' stuff, but indexing speed is a competitive advantage, now on this platform indexing speed is very fast even on new blogs. So what is the algorithm which makes this so?

XML RPC?
RSS?

Google has "whitelisted" wordpress or something like that.. or the google-bot has special optimized code to crawl wordpress faster :)

Im actually using the wordpress engine for all my new sites. Static or Blogs. I'm getting some good results.
 
I dont know but i need someone to help me get my wordpress blog indexed lol so idk i havent had any luck with wordpress
 
I don't know maybe is testing for wo-login.php existance ?
 
Its amazing how the big G likes wordpress. It even lists my answers from WP Answers above the same ones from Yahoo answers..:D
 
it's about crawling , well wordpress have this small feature to allow you to ping new created pages/posts you know , if the content it's '' right '' and good google will love it , and of course will share hes love with you that's all :)
 
Google doesn't like any particular site. John Chow is a reputable site that has been around for a while and link build. Wordpress is only a blog platform, nothing more. Sure they have SEO plugins great for newbies, that is probably why Wordpress blogs a probably higher, but in no way does it say Google "loves" Wordpress.

If you know how to search engine optimize in any site, it is the same if you used Wordpress.
 
Well, Google loves wordpress.com hosted sites as it's an authority site that's frequently updated.

As for self-hosted Wordpress, I doubt they have any special preference. It's just that a WP site is automatically set up with strong whitehat SEO, especially if you use things like the All-in-One SEO Plugin. Good use of meta tags, keywords in H tags, full XML sitemap, RSS feeds, automatic pinging of every page, etc. If you make your own sites instead of using WP, do you do all of that for every page every time? Probably not.
 
one of my site will become big too

it's containing google hot trends but i mixx it with youtube, twitter and google images so it's doesn't look like autoblog :D

currently now getting 1k+/day after only getting 100/day

i had learning something when optimizing that site, that people will come to your site to look for interested story and why not giving them more then what they expect :)
 
3 Reasons:

* Wordpress helps you keep stuff organized and clean, the code is easy to read


* Wordpress can be really SEO friendly. There are so many plugins that help you make your site easy to nagivate for a search engine crawler


* Wordpress also has some very nice plugins to make sitemaps. It is much easier for google to say "hey, here is a sitemap, just what I was looking for" than "gee... here I am at the homepage, now where do I go?
 
Google just seem to love wordpress at the moment as its highly seo optimised already and people making wordpresses tend to make them informative

I think its a matter of numbers.
Google's business model is to get searchers to the information they need.
Each site will be built and laid out differently. Wordpress and other packages bring in similarities.

Google can focus their indexing efforts on a million wordpress sites that have simiarlities and do better then hundreds of different website suites and styles that handle users in the low thousands. For those sites the generic google indexing works but not as well.
 
New wordpress blogs get posts indexed really fast with no inbound links, so it must be either the platform or the rss/ping?
 
WordPress kills it. That's for sure. Plus the learning curve is very gradual and fast; you can easily whip a static html template into a WP template in a matter of hours in most cases. Not really sure if there's a rhyme or reason for it getting indexed so quickly though...

With the amount of plugins that optimize it, and general support from the community of developers it's a no-brainer to use imo. I use it for every site except the asp .net shit I have to work on at the norm job.
