Why is Blogspot blog redirecting to county specific domain extension?

Recently, I observed a major change in blogspot blogs search result. I searched by using keyword ?seo blogspot? in Google.com the search result is showing ?blogknowhow.blogspot.com/.../blogger-blogspot-seo-tips-and-tricks? but when we click on link it redirects to country specific domain extension like .in, .uk etc
Can anyone suggest me why is it happing?
Is there any Google update about it but I am not familiar with it?

Google made some changes on blogger blogs, but I think they did not made an official announcement for this. But you can get more info on this, here;

the had this update for like 1 month or so. the only thing you can do is to add "/ncr" after the main url "domain.blogspot.com/ncr" and it will redirected to the .com
i don't know any permanent solution for this redirects

*update - someone else posted a complete answer before me
 
when you register the domain ,you will get as country specific only.The thing is you noticed it later.Eeven you try to type .com ,it will divert you country specific only.

Hey ezines, Really good stuff but mainly this problem displaying on blogger why? when you search .com or any site that's not redirecting.
