Using personal information (such as your real name, personal bank account, or personal PayPal) to register payment gateways for an IPTV business is highly risky and can lead to serious legal, financial, and security issues. Here’s why:

1. Legal Risks (DMCA & Copyright Infringement)
- IPTV services often distribute copyrighted content without proper licensing, making them a target for legal actions (DMCA takedowns, lawsuits, or criminal charges).
- If you use your real identity for payments:
- Authorities can easily trace transactions back to you.
- Payment processors (PayPal, Stripe, Wise) may freeze funds or ban your account upon receiving complaints.
- Increased risk of fines or prosecution if linked to illegal streaming.

2. Payment Processor Bans & Account Freezes
- Companies like PayPal, Stripe, and credit card processors actively block IPTV-related businesses.
- If they detect you’re selling unlicensed IPTV:
- Your account will be terminated permanently.
- Any funds in the account may be held for months (or forfeited).
- Future accounts under your name may also be blacklisted.

3. Chargebacks & Fraud Risks
- IPTV customers often issue chargebacks (disputes) after subscriptions stop working.
- If the payment account is under your name:
- You’ll be personally liable for refunds.
- Your credit score or banking reputation could be affected.

4. Privacy & Security Threats
- If customers (or competitors) get access to your personal details:
- Doxxing risk: Your name, address, or bank info could be leaked.
- Targeted attacks: Hackers or anti-piracy groups may harass you.

Safer Alternatives for IPTV Sellers
To minimize risks, consider:
✔A Payment Agency
✔ Anonymous Payment Gateways (Crypto payments like Bitcoin, Monero)
✔ Third-Party Reseller Accounts (Using a business entity instead of personal info)
✔ Prepaid Cards / Virtual Bank Accounts (Revolut, Wise Business, etc.)
✔ White-Label Payment Processors (Stripe alternatives that allow high-risk businesses)

Conclusion
Never link your personal identity to an IPTV business. Use anonymous or business-oriented payment solutions to protect yourself from legal trouble, financial loss, and security risks.

If you're selling IPTV on any reasonable scale, you're going to need multiple payment accounts. We use Stealth accounts,

Do you have some more detailed info about setting up an payment like that?

Also using a business entity instead of personal info still requires you to register a business, and for that you need to use personal info right?

You can just buy stealth accounts or use payment agency that charge like 10-20% of sales. This is what i do.
Ones with huge volume register a legit business(hosting mostly) and setup payment gateway with it, then use it via cloaking for iptv.

Solid advice! I'd also add that carefully reading the terms of service for any payment processor is crucial.

Very well explained and 100% accurate. I’ve been in the IPTV business for 8+ years and have seen too many people run into serious issues because they used personal accounts or didn’t separate their identity from their operations.

Personally, I work exclusively with business entities, virtual bank accounts, and crypto-friendly solutions to avoid these exact risks. Anyone serious about scaling in this niche needs to treat it like a real business—anonymity, legal separation, and smart payment routing are not optional anymore.

Appreciate you taking the time to lay this out so clearly. It’s advice that could save newcomers from a lot of pain.

Have any trusted source for buying stealth accounts?

What about withdrawing the fund in stealth accounts since they're tied to actual bank account.

I am running into this issue already after setting up shop and with most customers not being privy to the risk of using their personal accounts to pay, I finding it rather puzzling on how to navigate this road bump. Thinking I could do "crypto only" payments was naïve looking back, now I am left looking for solutions on how to keep things clean so to speak in regards to receiving card payments. I hope you wouldn't mind if I could pick your brain a little on the matter? it'd be much appreciated.
