Why I can't see attached images?

1. Are you only experiencing this with attached images?
2. When you try to view the posts with the attached images, are you logged off or logged on?

So instead of http://imageupload.co.uk/image/E8wY, you'd have to embed http://imageupload.co.uk/images/2018/05/17/bhwimage.jpg

Perhaps they're copying the link and visiting the page? You can right click the broken image icon and select "open image in new tab". That's what I used to do before I was a moderator (nowadays I would just fix the image link for them). Although, the difference is that I would let the poster know that they didn't correctly embed the image.

It's difficult to know unless we ask them if they can see the image as an embedded image.

This can also happen if you're looking at an old post. Sometimes the image was visible at the time it was posted but after time the host has removed the image and now it can't be seen. Tell us one of the posts giving you an issue and we'll check it.
