Why I am geting 0 backlinks?

I am still a bit of a noob. I created a blog a while ago, when I analyse it in SERP attacks I get no backlinks ou sitelinks. Wouldn't that be impossible for a wordpress blog?

Dr. Pepper thank you for your guess, just checked my source code... there are no "no follow". So I believe that is not the problem... Any other guesses? Could i post a link here?
 
They could take a while to shop up - wait till google next crawls your site or the site you posted the link on
 
The blog is at least 6months old, So i am guessing it is not a crawling issue as well. Pretty sure i mus be doing something wrong

But maybe I am getting the whole concept of backlinks wrong...
 
You built a blog a while ago, but where did you build the backlinks?

Backlinks indicate how many links are pointing TO your site from different sites, rather than how many links are on your own site.

The links that are pointing to your site on other websites need to be crawled and indexed by google, and be (do) follow links in order to show as a backlink.

If they are crap links like spam posts on low value blogs then they can also drop from Google and will no longer be shown as a backlink when you analyze your website.

Ok so it is the twitter and Facebook links that you need to check.

Are they follow links and are the pages indexed?
 
That makes sense Dr.Evil, thanks will try to build backlinks on other sites and see what happens.

The facebook and twitter pages are indexed, but they are automatic links through wordpress. So i guess they are nout counting, is that it?

Apparently twitter's are do follow and indexed but shortened.
Guess that could be causing trouble...
Will test a bit more and keep the post updated in the next few weeks.

Checked other websites of mine: They are not counting backlinks between them? Does it need to be a different dns server to count as a backlink?

(If you guy just want to send me to a good backlink tutorial, that is fine as well.)

articles submission
blog comment
wiki links
forum profiles and post
edu link
ect
just read across the forum and you will learn
