Hello BHW members

I’ve seen many people say guest posting is dead

but honestly, from my real SEO experience it’s still one of the most effective link building methods.

Here’s WHY guest posts still work

1. Real Traffic
Guest posts bring actual visitors, not just SEO signals.

2. Strong Contextual Links
Links inside relevant content more trust from Google.

3. Brand Authority
Your site looks legit when mentioned on niche-relevant blogs.

4. Lower Risk
Compared to spammy backlinks, guest posts are much safer long-term.

I’ve tested many link types over the years, and quality guest posts always gave more stable results.

Of course, quality matters:

Real websites

Low spam score

Relevant niche

Natural anchor text

I’m curious:

What’s your experience with guest posting?

Still working for you or not?

Let’s discuss.

Guest posting still seems effective when done on real, relevant sites with strong content and natural links it’s the low-quality, spammy approaches that usually stop working over time.

but don't you think google can catch easily the PBN's as they are mostly spammy and cheap, real 1 good link is better then >70 + average links and I notice all spammy around!

Totally agree. When guest posts are done on real, niche-relevant sites with actual traffic they still deliver both authority and sustainable rankings. The “dead” claims usually come from low-quality executions.

Brand authority is hard to find in most guest posts and pbn sites. They design and publish content like churn and burn projects. People do complain because it's hard to find safe & quality sites for backlinks.

Guest posting still works because real, relevant links bring steady traffic and trust over time.

Guest posting still works because it helps you get good backlinks, real visitors, and build trust when you publish on the right websites. Google values helpful content and real connections, not spam. When done properly, it improves rankings and visibility.

Yes, it is still a best way to boost site authority. It depends on the quality of sites.
