Why Does Facebook Disable My Business Manager Every Time I Add a Payment Method?

Just got another BM disabled within 5 mins of adding a card. It's not even a new card — I've used it on other accounts before.

Wondering if it's the IP, the card, or the account age triggering it.

Anyone figured out the actual reason behind this? Really frustrating when you're just setting things up properly.

Using a card that has been used too much is also not good, maybe that card has been added on many dead accounts leading to flagging

meta hi disable Bm then they rarely say why it is held so it is difficult to improve, but it is not unreasonable, you must have violated something

When a Business Manager gets nuked right after adding a payment method, it usually means Facebook is detecting multiple trust violations at once: reused card across accounts, mismatched IP (especially datacenter or flagged subnets), fresh BM with no activity, or browser fingerprint anomalies. To avoid this, the safest route is to run through a stable mobile proxy (real ASN, not datacenter), use a clean browser fingerprint, and add a card that hasn’t recently been linked to other BMs. That combo greatly increases your trust score.

This is not uncommon – usually related to fingerprints, reused IPs, or previously flagged cards. Adding a card to a new or untrusted BM (especially one that has been used elsewhere) can easily be scanned and blocked immediately. The best way is to let the BM rest for a few days after creation, use a clean proxy, a separate device, and then add a brand new card that has never been used. Do not do it too quickly or repeat the same process on multiple BMs, as this can easily be flagged by the automated behavior system.

Bro, try changing your bank card and browser IP on your new account first. Today there are dozens of services providing virtual cards

super frustrating. Could be card reuse + IP combo or flagged pattern. Try using fresh cards and aged profiles with clean history FB’s getting stricter daily.

Switch to a clean IP (mobile tether or residential proxy with no past Meta history).
Or
Age the BM — don’t add a card right away. Let it sit for 24–48 hours.

If your old card's payment history has too many failed bills, this is also a problem.

Separate the cards, using high trust one. To be honest, FB advertising is not that hard. Learning the basis technique and manage your assets properly is enough for anyone. A bit luck as well

This could be a mix of things. Usually, Facebook flags accounts based on risk factors like IP changes, card usage patterns, or account age. If you’re using a fresh account with a new IP or card, it could trigger a flag, even if the card is used elsewhere. Try setting up accounts with more gradual changes, using a stable IP, and building trust with the account first. If you can’t figure it out, accounts that are properly aged and stable can help avoid this issue.

It could well be one or more factors causing tripping up the risk filters and causing your account to get flagged and disabled. Reusing cards from other accounts is already one factor that could affect that. That said, there's also the fact that it can trigger from having a fresh BM with no prior history but that's just on the face of it. Card BIN issues is another. Of course you have the classic IP and device/browser fingerprint mismatch. One or a combination of those could do it so even if you use a clean card (because the card is defo one major factor), you could still get flagged via the other ways so look out for those.

Maybe your card has a low credit score. Unusual payment so FB has locked it for checking. You can appeal to reopen it.

New BM is not trust with FB, they usually get ban like this. appointing more admins can even lead to bans. Let's wait until the situation stabilizes, we have no other choice

Try changing the bank card and browser IP on the account. This is likely the problem.
