So by saying you have quit BH you are saying you are doing WH, and now you just sit around in the hope that someone will make natural links to your website? Good luck with that. Or do you think if you do them manual it is White Hat and not as bad because you dedicated your time to making that link?

Because if you were making a lot of money you would not have quit.
Some people don't realise the huge scale of the Internet, building a few thousand links with GSA is nothing and will largely go unnoticed due to the billions of pages out there that's the way I see it anyway.
Most adverts i see popping up on Facebook are from white hats pushing their latest ebook.
Technically though there is no such thing as a white hat because soon as you build a link manually you are breaking Google's term of service.
I use whatever technique is right for the website whether that is 'white' 'grey' 'blue' 'yellow' or 'black' hat as long as the end user is happy then it's ok.
