Why do seoexperts rank others sites?

I always wondered about it. So Im gonna ask it. The thing is that i see these guys who provide seo services, these can be about ist tiers or all tiers etc. Some claim that they will rank your site or video on ist page ogf google.

Now here is something that is really confusing, i.e why does an individual who knows ranking sites on google, opts to rank other peoples site instead of ranking his own.
I mean why not just rank heavily searched kws(buyer kws) on google ist page and Bank!. There are people who rank videos for you, so i have to ask them again that you arent you ranking your own video.

One thing that comes to mind is that seo is for a fixed period of time for some people, i mean some people will make a contract with you for an year, so it is a passive income for one year, but here again on bhw expecially, people dont operate that way.

First, they are NOT AT ALL seo experts (95% of them), they ARE experts at automating tasks, running freelancers etc.
2nd, if they provide services, they get paid no matter what, they don't have to worry about rankings, monetizing, adsense ban, neg seo etc...
 
Because clients pay big bucks to rank their sites for EASY local keywords.
 
There simply are not enough hours in the day for these people to rank sites, run the sites, etc. It's easy to just do a campaign and rank someone elses site, maintaining these sites if they were do it themselves would be so much more work.
 
Because not all the webmaster knows to do SEO as well - so is needed for these kinds of services :)
 
They don't advertise as ranking sites, but selling back links etc.

Ranking is a possible benefit of these services - but as that is far from assured, this is one sector where the features are sold, not the benefits.
 
You will find that most "seo experts" that provide services also have their own army of sites....and they do very well with them.

Most large firms have their own offers, have a lead gen division, etc...just because they don't come out and say it....the successful ones do.

If a client wants to pay you $3k a month that is $36k a year...soooo, make your own sites....rake in that income....as well as SEO services.

Diversity is the key...
 
Selling links can be more stable then relying on rankings for a website. It can also be a lot of work to maintain a website. It really comes down to what makes the most money and what the person enjoys doing.
 
I have plenty of websites but why not help others? Plus I don't have the infrastructure to sell fireplaces or beds or stair parts but my clients do. So I make a fuck ton of money helping those
 
What makes you think they don't? I've seen this line so many times around the forum, its simple really if your good at something maybe even a master at it, people will pay you good money for your skills, its like any thing really.

If you have all this knowledge and you have big resources at your disposal why the hell not GET PAID as long as they are NOT in your niche? I've turned down clients in the past because they are in the same niche as me, but aside from that SHOW ME THE MONEY man!
 
Well, Tell me one thing. If you are a Fashion Designer ..You will not hire a Tailor ? SEO is a type of Artist who knows a Job. Tailor use to make Cloths for themself but they Do work for others!!
2nd Opinion about why SEO Experts work for other People site? Well, Let's say this way "I am a SEO expert..Today 1000 People Know me that I am one of Expert..and after 5 Years I will be a Known Experts? So my Name will become Brand..There are 1000's of Artists in World but you know few Famous..So SEO Expert is an Artist...So Artists wants to be Famous...??""I hope it gives you a Better Idea of why SEO experts works for Other People...It's not just money for which they work..
 
It's a business. They probably have a suite of tools that makes it really easy for them to hit some buttons, get your campaign going, while counting your money. Then on the low end you've got people in third world countries who are happy to sit and click all day to get money which will feed their family for a week.

i meant the guys who specifically mention ranking in their services, coze backlinks services is understandable, But i got my answer.

There are people who love to do seo, so they don't go in other troubles. They just sell what they love doing and other are all scammers.
