because they do not guarantee ranks or they give page 1 rankings and clients are happy but they get money for it. Ranking is not equal to banking. You need to maintain it and convert it etc. etc.

The main reason is seo expert found easy and in part automatic ways to rank on google so It takes much less time for get results than a CEO or Marketing director who don't have time to learn and ok for pay BIG MONEY to get results.
And yes I consider an Artist who want to be know and ask even more money.

As mentioned my NetMoney1, diversity is the key to being successful so if you can provide SEO services for others while owning your own sites and doing SEO for yourself, then that's the way to go.
