People use Pinterest mostly for inspiration and idea generation
 
Pinterest is a great source to drive traffic to the blogs. I use it every time to find inspiration plus it is good for backlinks.
 
Pinterest is great for women as you can watch the audience mostly used my females and simple answer is images attract people
 
Its really helping seo, if you create daily even 2-3 pins will see results on google. :)
 
I use it mainly for idea generation esp for design related work.
 
I use Pinterest to drive traffic to my blog. The traffic is not good these days.
 
my friend tell me if she know pinterest from her friend, whereas before they didn't more activity in digital. weird
they always see fashion models if they open pinterest

My girlfriend loves Pinterest because of all the fashion and decoration ideas. The experience is much different from Instagram and she thinks that the layout of the app is beautiful. She also likes the big variety of content that you can find there. It’s a female-oriented app so if you won't want to be part of it you should ask the opinions of girls for your content ideas.
 
Pinterest is a good source to reach a wider audience who you might even know are your target audience. You write contents for your target audience, but you can turn audiences into your target audience. Depending on your niche market, Pinterest is an amazing social platform to share contents especially visual images and infographics to gain referral traffic. Also good for building links as well. From 1 pin and the more shares you get, you get referring domains and backlinks from all ccTLD from pinterest. So work once, and receive referring domains and backlinks a good signal to Google you are popular.
 
I tried to work with Pinterest, but it doesn't work very well. Maybe someone will tell you the nuances of promotion? I will be very grateful...

I am using Pinterest for marketing and it is a great platform get my results in a month with good traffic
