Why do people still use vb6?

The ability to produce native code without dependencies is one of the main reasons.

It is also much more convenient to program in VB6 than .NET if you are preparing for possible decompilation attempts.

WOW didn't knew there were so many fans of VB6 still around.

I gave up VB6 in 2003.

I guess might build some small tools in it.

Why would you wanna ditch something that works ? Anyway I used it and it fell short for me on some projects so I had to move on though I still use it here and there for some very basic projects.
