The statement does not state all change, nor does it imply anything. It is a simple sentence which you have complicated by making assumptions about it. It does not say all people, it does not say that it is the only reason, therefore your argument is invalid. Unless of course you are just giving a different perspective of how various people change, but it looks to be more of an argument.

Living beings in general don't happen to change very often. Wether it may be humans, animals or bacteria.
Once you're grown up, you gotta life with your shortcomings.
