Why do people need stealth Paypal accounts?

Same here,

Started a bst here in BHW, started making some money and then Baaam !

Paypal held my account !

I explained that i'm selling online service and gave them everything they need, but the account is still prohibated . Had to cancel my BST because i was afraid that if i receive payment in another PayPal account i would have the same result ; Account Limited.

Is it a personal account, or a business one that has been limited?

country isn't eligible for paypal its one reason

It's personal account bro ..

People using PayPal Stealth accounts to avoid scammers. Specially when you are dealing with new clients.

Yo bro,

I've used just wufoo to fill the form and go for payment on Paypal because i've seen .. well almost everyone here on bhw BST use it.

Well for me i had to get a child pp account which pretty much links your pp to your parents. My parents don't have a pp so i couldn't do it

I need to admit , that from the European side everything has been working smooth so far . I have heard people from Africa and Asia having difficulties .

I am from Europe and with us there is no problem with PayPal

As you may have been reading, many persons have different reasons for using "Stealth Paypal" .

1. Remember though, the name of the forum is BLACKHATWORLD. Many of the marketing strategies may fall in a grey area that might put your funds at risk. To mitigate such risk, you may not necessarily want to use your personal account FIRST. More over, there are many strategies to making money here. You may opt to have different accounts for each strategy and then consolidate them after in your personal account.

2. There are those who are straight black hats, and so because of their activity do not want (really cannot) use their personal accounts.

3. This website has a global appeal with persons from many nations. Some of those nations either have paypal restrictions (example method of withdrawals) or no paypal at all. As such those persons would want to get an "stealth account" for that use.

4. Just because. There are those who want to have them just because others have it or it is available.

5. Experimenting. Whenever experimenting with new ideas and new areas, putting your account up may not be the best idea.

6. Dealing with PEOPLE on Web and Forums. Many people on the web are devious and may use black hat ways to pay you for goods or service, OR they may even pay you , and after they have given them what they want , they charge back. This will flag your personal account with unnecessary fraud activity, decreases your trust score with paypal and increases your risk factor. So using a stealth paypal for these type of transactions and then consolidating with your personal account after is one way of keeping your personal account clean.

Are you talking about the market ?
Are you talking about the "selling 'stealth' accounts" business ?
Are you talking about generating more then 50.000$ revenue ?

That might be the only real beneficial reason people use "stealth" Paypal accounts . I never had any chargebacks on the services that I provide to the IM Community and Businesses . When someone sounds fishy I don't do business with them .

I think that depends on:
A) How much you are currently making; and
B) if you ever intend on making money outside of BHW.

Kind of a silly thread, TBH. I don't use stealth accounts, but it's pretty easy to figure out why people would want them without needing to ask. If you have to ask why people use them, you don't need one, so it's kind of a waste of time to worry about it when you can focus on things that directly affect you & your business.

Illegal activities, underage users, countries where PP isn't supported, people who were booted [unfairly? PP can freeze funds and lock accounts at will] are just a few (primary) reasons.

It's all shady, any legit business will obviously get one if possible, but for those operating outside of PayPal's 'official' terms, it's better to have a bucket to collect money that *may* get taken away then to never have a bucket to collect with in the first place. Move it around fast enough and it doesn't matter if you lose a few grand when they close it in the end. Rinse and repeat.

Thanks for this, it was a really good summary. Even though you called my thread silly.

I could've guessed why really, so I see your point. I just didn't understand why people where asking others on this forum to help them do something illegal (which I though was the only real reason).
