Why didn't Google penalize BHW?

Don't get me wrong. This is one of the most informative forums out there, and I like it a lot as many others do. However, as the the majority of the content is about gaming Google's algorithms, I wonder why it still ranks so well on Google. Is it Google's mantra to not penalize the ranking of a website that didn't implement any blackhat SEO, even if the content itself is centered around blackhat SEO? :rolleyes:

Because Matt Cutts and Admins are in JV of course it is never announced because things like these are never announced officially
 
why doesn't google deindex all the forums,blogs and websites that has the word seo, search engine optimisation in it? it surely is a conspiracy, I can tell you that
 
If GG penalize this forum, they will prove that the tricks here are absolutely work
 
Because the BHW is an excellent source of new black hat techniques and sites that offer these services, so that big G can adjust his algorithm and easier penalizes sites that use these techniques and services.
 
There was a similar post some time ago, as someone said in that post as well, the Alexa rank of BHW has dropped over 600 positions, it was around 400 and now its over 1000, means BHW took a hit somewhere.
 
We will all neg SEO big G if that happens
 
Google knows BHW has real and massive direct traffic that does not rely on their search engine placement, so penalizing the site will not hurt it.
 
There are some pirated copies of themes etc. in downloads. They could maybe blacklist cuz of that?
 
Because google hates penalizing big money makers and authority websites. BHW makes BIG MONEY, and its an authority website with I believe millions of indexed pages. This makes it pretty untargetable for any kind of penalties. Common sense.

In other words BHW is not penalized because sites like Forbes & Huffington Post are not penalized.

It takes tens of thousands of complaints to google to get deindexed from the search results. BHW only has 4 since 2005 according to chilling effects.

BHW is not just for talking about SEO, it has several forums where we can discuss about them. BHW is not as myblogguest site as it totally hurting to build links.
BHW is a great site for making money ideas with several ways.
 
Because it's not against their TOS to talk about something. BHW doesn't break any of their guidelines, the content isn't spam, it doesn't need to build backlinks because those happen naturally, and has tons of real direct traffic and repeat visitors. That's why most websites dedicated to SEO aren't deindexed either.

As long as you follow the rules, it doesn't matter what your content is. Google might be biased (showing preference to certain sites), but it still follows its own rules.
