Good Day Fellow BlackHatWorld Members,

Several months ago I switch from cPanel to Cyberpanel on one of my servers and it is by far the best choice of the Year I have made! Cyberpanel is not only free, it is lightweight and has everything you need without the bloat and price tag of cPanel. I forgot, it is fast, super fast. Most cPanel users are on Jurassic period Apache and Cyberpanel comes standard with OpenLiteSpeed, which is right next to the Creme de la Creme of Web Servers LiteSpeed Enterprise.

Who else is using Cyberpanel and who is left in the stone age with cPanel, I want to know!?

Does this panel has option to disable auto updates?
 
I am using cpanel. We're used to it now :)
 
I have some processes built around the CPanel API, so it'd be hard to shift now. Does CyberPanel have a good API?
 
Thanks for starting this topic, buddy. It's been a while I've been reading articles and watching videos on CyberPanel. It's freaking awesome from what I can gather.

CyberPanel + OpenLiteSpeed looks like a solid combo.

However, the problem is that people have gotten used to using cPanel and it will take some time for them to switch over. I really hope the hosting companies can start offering CyberPanel to their customers.

It will surely be a "you jump... I jump" thing between the two.

You seem elated, yet let me ask, how has your experience been so far? Is there anything in cPanel that you're missing now?
How does it compare to the other options, say Direct Admin and Plesk? In case you've used them.
 
I will use CyberPanel on Dell Server in my house if CyberPanel is free of cost?
 
Cyberpanel is good panel, but never forget free panels always have vulnerabilities, bugs and much more.

That is because is free and the team isn't bigger to cover all situations.

ISPManager is great and cheap. cPanel is the best since all bugs and exploits are patched.

DirectAdmin is the big competitor of cPanel... More cheap and some providers switching to them.

ISPManager receives updated weekly. Very good option not the best, but definitely a good alternative.

Cyberpanel but lack of security can be dangerous in a newbie server manager.

Litespeed can be used in DirectAdmin and cPanel :) for who doesn't know that!

If you want a paid panel and you don't have a lot of money

ISPManager Lite 4€ monthly, very easy to install and use.
DirectAdmin very good alternative to cPanel
 
Most hosting companies offer Cpanel due to security and because users prefer it. The users will pay extra for Cpanel, so there is nothing these companies lose by providing it. There are other alternatives but free doesn't always mean good. I'm using litespeed and directadmin control panel without any issues. I'll try cyberpanel in a droplet when I get time.

What do you mean by disable auto updates? Updates to Centos or another system or updates to the control panel?

I started with cPanel in 2003 when I was 15 years old, using PHP Nuke at the time. At the time your only option was cPanel with apache. With cPanel cost increase and numerous options available today, I stepped out of my comfort zone to try Cyberpanel. It really was a delight to try and I Cyberpanel on several of my servers.

First and foremost, Cyberpanel is not bloated with options and is lightweight and fast. When I use cPanel, it is as if my mine takes in the whole image with all those options then I start the search for the option I am looking for. With Cyberpanel, you look at the screen and know exactly what to do and where to go intuitively. Here is a link to a screenshot I took:

I have tried Direct Admin and Plesk and nothing can compare to CyberPanel. CyberPanel is proof that sometimes, less is more.

Just because it's free and suits Wordpress.
 
I just checked the website and its available for free. If I buys Dell Server after launch of 5G then I will consider installing Cyberpanel instead of cPanel.

No member is claiming "free is always good."

Security is not limited to a hosting control panel. If you have linux and hardware/software firewall configured to gold standards it is highly unlikely a person(s) will exploit just a control panel.

My primary Stack is:

CyberPanel
LiteSpeed Enterprise Webserver
LiteSpeed Web ADC Load Balancer
 
I love cpanel too, It's easy to operate. But going to check the cyber panel for sure.
