Why Blackhat Lifter is banned?

I can't ban myself on the forum. That's unreasonable to me. If I'm distracted, I simply send the signal to my brain not to visit BHW and that does it

he will comeback soon, nothing to worried

I still don't get it.

Why do people request for banned if they can just leave their account inactive?

Addiction.

Addicted people actually ask to get physically removed from the addiction. Like "get this drink away from me" or "send me to rehab".

Looks like....black hat lifter couldn't lift this one. We're too heavy.

this is so weird...

these voluntary bans make no sense at all...
They perfectly make sense.

I used to request temporary bans as well, on different forums that is.

I did it when I was younger, and mainly to garner attention.

You could still lurk on here without logging in. So, somebody with an addiction problem would just return as guest.

With that said, I couldn't regularly visit this forum without burning out at some point. I'm not surprised that some folks request permanent bans.

Just feels to me they request bans like this, so people will give them attention. If you really need to focus then log out quietly and not come on bhw for a while but this "wanting to be banned" is pathetic.

Just perma ban and there you go.

Mods are already busy so how does starting a new trend of 'requesting to be banned" bring any value to the community.

Actually, I sort of have to agree. Total waste of mods time.

There is no telling why someone would request a ban but the most likely reason is to alleviate the distraction of forum access, it can consume time but he can return when he chooses, he will just have to contact support, there are members that have been banned on request in the past, @proxygo did this as a joke once and scared half the members here.

@ContentExpert i just did it as a joke last year after being here 13 years.

Yup! I think he should be perma banned to stop further threads like this and the new trend been "can a mod ban me for x amount of time" really is ridiculous. Then the dude who created the thread about blacklifter then does the same thing, it's childish, pathetic and stinks of narcissism.

If they were genuine they would do what most other people do and just log off but instead they say they want space from bhw but they create a thread about it, what is all that about?

It's like they are expecting the community to scramble around them to beg them to stay. They are a small drop on a very big ocean but seem to believe they are special.

Yeah, they be thinking they special. There's only 1 special person on this forum and this planet and this universe - that would be me :D

hahaha

No but seriously, there's no need for perma bans. The mods could just refuse to do it if someone asks. If it's never done, no one ever sees it, no one talks about it, no one thinks about it, and it's history.

I mean, I don't know if there's a way to tune out of the forum in the sense of not receiving email notifications. But I would imagine that's a pretty basic thing and it should be available somewhere in account settings.

Because let's face it, if you're not receiving emails in your inbox from the forum, then all you need is a drop of discipline and you're golden baby :)

Let's listen to a song and chill :D

You should be temp banned for thinking your number 1, as we all know I am. ...joke..

Anyways, he's had his 2 minutes of attention, time to get back to making some Benjamin's :-)
