Everything there is to hate about DP can be summed up by your presence on BHW. Everyone is jumping on your case right now because they don't want this forum to change into DP.
Sometimes newbies do come to this forum to learn. I don't think they want to learn internet marketing or blackhat seo from a "property renovator". If you really want people to learn, maybe you should ... you know ... try making a living from IM before you go about teaching others how to do it.
By the way, you think I can't read -- but I know exactly what you're trying to say. You're saying that using toolbar PR as a guideline to buy backlinks is a bad idea, presented with an assumption that we're all doing it and that we're all mad.
Now let me show you how you can't read ...
You say you've read on BHW that people are saying to "only get high PR links". Show me where you read that, Mr. Brilliant Reader.
You say you've read on BHW that people are saying "I will only exchange with PR2 etc". Oh really? You read that here on BHW? Where? You have excellent reading skills, show me where you read it.
Furthermore, your whole presumption of this thread is that somewhere here on BHW that people are being told that you need to buy links only from websites that show high toolbar PR. Anyone who would suggest such a thing would get flamed as bad as you're being flamed. No one is suggesting anywhere that buying only high toolbar-only PR links is beneficial.
99% of the link sellers I see promoting anything, anywhere on BHW are selling forum links (brand new, no PR), scrapebox links (brand new, rarely PR and even if there was there's 100s of OBL on the page), linkwheels (made from brand new web2.0 properties -- i.e. no PR yet).
The only case where anyone is even selling links with "PR" being associated with the links being bought are on private blog networks, where PR is not the only selling factor.
The only person I have ever seen trying to sell links on these boards, using PR as the only indicator of the worth of the link, is
YOU. When I first
saw your original thread selling PR3 links, I thought you were violating the rules of the forum by creating a sales thread outside of the BST category and I was surprised you weren't banned from the forum then by soliciting private messages to sell links without paying the $20 fee.
The only person selling links on BHW with toolbar PR being used as a selling feature is
YOU. If you want to protect people by telling them not to buy links based on nothing but PR, maybe you should just
tell yourself and spare everyone else the lecture.
