Why Are So Many Facebook Accounts Getting Hacked Lately?

Are you and those around you experiencing similar situations? I'm not, everything is going quite well.

Yes; Hackers are getting smarter by the minute. However, if someone had proper 2FA enabled he/she wouldn't experience this.
 
For business accounts , decentralizing administrative control to backup profiles is a crucial survival strategy. Instead of using just one primary account, designate at least 2-3 other "clean" accounts as administrators to ensure that if one link is hacked or mistakenly flagged by the system, you retain all your assets, customer base, and campaign control. Proactively building a multi-layered protection "network" will help your advertising infrastructure withstand unexpected platform disruptions.

This could be because you're dealing with unreliable suppliers, or it could be that the account in your Business Manager is selling products that violate Facebook's policies, leading to unusual activity in the Business Manager and causing it to be removed from the Manager list.

Did you forget to change both your Facebook password and the linked email password?
Also, emails often contain secondary email addresses belonging to the seller. If you don't delete them and replace them with your own email, there's a high chance your account could be compromised.
Another reason is the 2FA code. If possible, you should go to your account settings and change the 2FA code to a new one that only you have access to.

The issue you raised is something I've encountered quite a few times. It could be due to carelessness while using Facebook, such as users clicking on suspicious links and getting hacked, or elderly users setting weak passwords.
 
Facebook has improved account security after numerous data breaches. However, these are still common due to phishing attacks, email account losses, or data breaches. To protect your account, enabling two-factor authentication is essential.
 
You can hack a Facebook account only if the owner let you do that...there are different strategies and as a owner you fall for it..bye bye account.
 
I don't think that hacking facebook account is that much easy. Accounts get hacked because of easy password that can be guessed and less security. Otherwise, Facebook is not easy to hack.
 
Good point. If you enable login alerts and link your account with a verified email and phone number, the system will usually send notifications whenever a new login attempt happens. This makes it easier to notice unusual activity and helps keep your account more secure.

Yeah Ive been seeing the same thing lately. It feels like most of the time it’s not actually “hacking”, it’s people getting caught by phishing links, fake login pages, or shady apps that ask for Facebook access. Once someone logs in through those, the attacker basically gets the keys to the account.
Another big one is reused passwords. If a password leaks from another site, attackers try it on Facebook and a bunch of other platforms.

Best advice right now: turn on 2-factor authentication and don’t click random “you got a copyright strike” or “your page will be disabled” links
 
Noticed this too. Most cases I've seen trace back to reused passwords or falling for fake login pages. Facebook's own security has improved but user habits haven't.
 
You may have clicked on a suspicious link that could easily allow malicious actors to obtain your login information and hack your account.
 
In my opinion, many recent Facebook hack aren’t really caused by sophisticated attacks, but mostly by phishing links, leaked or reused passwords, installing untrusted extensions/apps, or accidentally granting access to third-party tools.
 
Why? You shouldn't download application files from unknown sources or click on unsafe links. These are some of the reasons why we lose our Facebook accounts.
