Why Are People’s Profile Pics Often Dark or Troll-ish?

Hey guys,

I’ve noticed a trend where many people’s profile pictures are either dark, moody, or even troll-ish. What’s the deal with that?
Here’s what I think:
Aesthetic & Vibe: Darker PFPs often give off a mysterious or edgy vibe.
Trolling: A lot of people just like to mess around with funny or weird images.
Community Influence: Certain online communities (like BHW) kind of foster this type of PFP culture.
Anonymity: A darker or unusual PFP can help maintain some anonymity online.

Because its an internet culture.
 
Had the same problem, turned out my original avatar was too small. So if that's the case for you try with a bigger image. So now I can have cutest av on the whole fuckin blackhat part of the internet.

@Venusaur in Poland there was hacker group called Gummi Bears that was using images like that lol.

Because I'm lazy to change my profile picture. You said I just noticed this, let me change my profile picture right away. Probably a bright picture so that everyone will be happy to see it.
