Why are negative reviews not allowed on BHW Sales Threads?

If I was an owner of some forum where users would pay me $97 to be able to post their ads, I would never allow any one to bash them.

Then you must be the owner of WF.

I've seen plenty of negative reviews, there must have been good reason for a mod to delete the review in your case.

I've sold services here for many years. I can confidently tell you that reviews are NEVER deleted whether good or bad. The only time a mod will intervene is when a client begins to spam the thread with multiple bad reviews - 1 review that's it.

I assume there was a legit reason for the deletion or some mistake here.

In my cases if I post an honest review and it's bad, the seller usually consistently begs and offers so many free services or a refund, that you look like an asshole if you leave up the review.

I've had reviews I've posted on other threads deleted by mods but I cannot remember the case and it was probably before new forum ownership.

Yeah it definitely happens. Speaking from my own experience here.. depending on how irate the client was and how they approached me 9 times out of 10 I would publicly reply and publicly offer those freebies without the need for any removal of reviews. This approach can work in the sellers favor, you can easily turn a bad situation into a positive with the right response.

If it's an obvious troll or someone I know is only out to cause problems (many of them here, unfortunately) I will have no issue answering them and usually as sharply as they have done to me.
