My domain name is 1 month old. I have built around 500 backlinks with SB and also through web2.0 blogs and purchasing some .edu links through BHW over the course of the last 4 weeks. Yet still my site is showing 0 backlinks (on traffic travis link checker, SB link checker and a few other online free versions)

Am I doing something wrong or do I just need to wait? I know all the links are live because I can see them..

    Thanks!

all that means is that whatever database those tools are pulling link data from haven't crawled the sites that you have backlinks on since you've built them. there's no way to tell if the search engines see those backlinks anymore. if you've checked that the links are there and working, then that's pretty much all you can do

Try setting up some RSS feeds for the backlinks and then submitting them to RSS directories.

I'm in the same situation as you. I checked my backlinks using market samurai and backlinkswatch and both programs showed 0 backlinks to my website.

I use google webmaster tools to analyze my backlinks further and it showed 1.

and I'm ranking #6 for the kw I'm targeting so I think Google is seeing the backlinks.

Try ibacklinkspro, I managed to see a partial of my backlinks using this.
