Why a Weaker domain can better than the other?

Hi there,

Can anybody shed some light on why a weaker domain with fewer backlinks can ranked better than the other (e.g.seo company malaysia)?

1. page-rank1.com (no keyword-in-domain., 3 years, 43 backlinks. DA: 12)
2. simple-seocompany.com (keyword-in-domain., 6 years, tons of backlinks. DA: 38)

Weaker based on what? Joke metric like DA?

Please.

There are dozens of factors in play. First of all, backlinks of that DA38 domain can be crap as compared to that DA 12 one. Other factors are overall keyword competition, onsite SEO, etc.

Metrics aren't even the tip of the iceberg. For all you know, the site might be hiding PBN links.

Does the lower ranking site have higher quality authoritative backlinks? Better onpage SEO? Does it have any issues with SSL or loading times?

Metrics mean almost nothing in terms of real-wold SEO. White-hat rankings come from high quality, not spamming backlinks across hundreds of domains.

Metrics of Ahref, Moz, Majestic is not like metrics of google t.e nobody knows exactly metrics for compare one domain to another. Check your ONPAGE SEO, Check your backlinks, Percent of anchors to keywords / text and many many others.
