Who's your favorite James Bond?

No doubt:

ROGER MOORE

They're all good actors, but Roger is the closest to the real character, as imagined by the author in my opinion.

And BTW, I like him as an actor, just not as Bond. Also the movies he was in were terribly written, so it's not ONLY him. They lacked any substance, it was all cheap thrills and explosions, they made it into a cheap summer Blockbuster. The James Bond franchise definitely had it's fair share of cheap thrills and explosions, but it there was always something more to it, it was more sophisticated than a summer Blockbuster, there was witty dialogue and an interesting story. The Brosnan ones lacked on both of those fronts.

Which Bond was tortured and held prisoner by the North Koreans or 14 months, yet survived? Answer: Brosnan's. That's rugged. Which films would openly question or attack the adolescent conventions of the Bond movies in the script? Yup. The Brosnan era. That's an adult, interesting development. What you're criticizing are the juxtapositions---the real-edge changes were happening on the fly in those movies, while the cornball conventions were left in. The main difference in the Craig era is that the conventions were mostly disposed of, which makes what's been left in the grist for some gritty spy movies, but they're not really BOND movies anymore in the classic sense.

I dont like Daniel Craig the most as far as Bond goes, but, both Layer Cake and Defiance fucking rock!

Daniel Craig. Has a very own different type of style! Unusual for a Bond!
 
Definatey a tie between ROGER MOORE & SEAN CONNERY, then perhaps timothy dalton, but no where near as suave as the first two..

agree with first 2 and to be honest nobody else has come up to scratch.Anybody actually read an Ian Fleming book,i did when i was a kid.

It might just be me but Connery and Moore just seemed to fit better with his writings.OH and anybody remember David Niven being James Bond(spoof) film

I would say 2nd is Daniel Crieg then Roger Moore
 
No contest whatsoever; James Bond = Sean Connery. He broke the the mold... (I have to admit that I'm most impressed with Daniel Craig's recent effort however)... Roger Moore didn't have the physical ability to make the fight scenes believable and his poor delivery of the obligatory one-liners to leading ladies always fell short of Connery's suave smooth debonair.
 
I actually Like Danial Craig and the newer Bond Movies, the old ones were cool but Danial Craigs is more about today's times, that is why I like them :) just my opinion, I mean the old Bond movies give me a laugh, :) including the fightings, I am not saying they were bad, just reflected the past, I like movies that deal with stuff of today or 90's,
 
There's Sean Connery and then there's everybody else... Not to say that the Roger Moore and Daniel Craig versions aren't very enjoyable, but Moore lacked the toughness and Craig lacks the polish that Connery had. That and that sense of mischievousness that Connery had.
 
Timothy Dalton... used to be Roger Moore but I find him a bit cheesy these days. Timothy Dalton was the Bond from the books and did the hard man Bond way before Craig. Shame he didn't make more films but I think there were some contractual issues which stopped any new bond films being made for a few years.
