This sort of thing has been happening FOR YEARS. Google still hasn't figured out what to do about it.
This isn't a "negative" SEO campaign, this is someone that hacked the site and then is spamming it hard so that they start ranking for Viagra. Same strategy used for the last 5+ years by the same group of guys.
Effective negative SEO campaigns don't rely on spamming a site with porn and pharma keywords. That's just some idiot that doesn't know how to do negative SEO.

FWIW - G said they had payday loans and viagra under control a very long time ago... but this thread alone contains several extreme examples to the contrary. Refer to my above post.

Just curious, when you guys see these links, do you guys export them(MajesticSEO or whatever tool you use) and try to use tools (GSA) to build these same links to your own websites, whether it be you own PBN, or money site. Or do you not go after these links at all.
Seeing as how they have been successful, I would think that it would be tempting to try to replicate that same backlink profile for yourself. Or is their a risk with trying to follow another site and copying what they do?
