I think this topic needs discussing, so add your two cents worth.
The name of the game is to get people to an affiliate landing page for dating or credit cards or free ringtones or viagra or lawnmowers or whatever, right?
A White Hat will build a pretty little site with a carefully chosen domain name, and nicely written (or rewritten PLRs) and then.... no one comes.
So off he goes to get links. He submits his site to social bookmarking sites. He writes and submits articles. He looks to trade links with others etc etc.
He will be the first to tell you this takes time and hard work.
A Black Hat makes a site and.... no one comes. So he spams the shit out of it and it gets banned by Google, or sandboxed or made supplementary or some other nasty thing.
So now he makes a cloaked site pointing to his "money site" but.... no one comes because no one knows the cloaked site exists! So he spams the shit out of the cloaked site and IT gets banned!
Are you starting to see a pattern here? It all boils down to backlinks. Whether you get them from submitting articles or spamming ten thousand guest books or blog comments, a backlink is a backlink.

What does it take? A trick to get "your own page" on the Orange site and then spam a lot of guestbooks to make that page rank for the desired keywords. That's it! The "real site" he made isn't important. It doesn't need to rank at all. The Orange site does the work.
So what is Google going to do? Ban Orange? Yeah right. Ban all the guestbooks you spammed? Hardly.
Now search Google for "buy Viagra" or similar terms.
You will see that a number of the high ranking sites aren't sites at all. They are using the "Orange trick" or pointing to a page on a free web host. That page is keyword stuffed and has a crappy javascript redirect to the affiliate landing page.
Think this through. They are ranking in the top 5 or 10 for the most competitive terms in the world and they don't even have a site!!!!
What they DO have is 100,000 backlinks and you can bet they didn't get them because people recommended their non-existent site.
So lets cut to the chase and talk about the best tools for mass spamming.
