Guaranteed there are many in this forum who have made ZERO in the same amount of time. So what? The best way to make you feel better is to make your own money!
You obviously have not been spending your time doing the right things. Gotta change your behaviors if you want a different result. Perhaps instead of asking to see if someone has done worse than you, you should be asking for help and advice so you can improve. Anybody here will tell you spending lots of time downloading/chatting is a recipe for disaster, not for making money.

You can blog all day long, but if you are not creating a quality result that is SEO'd, properly monetized, and well promoted you will make what you've been making. Nothing. We've all heard this one; "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result". STOP IT!!!

Lucky you are to have a wifey who is putting up with your nonsense and bringing home the bacon. How long until her patience wears thin?

Either do it right or do something else. You'd have to be absolutely kidding yourself to work that long and that hard for nothing. You'd have to be doing things completely unplanned, unorganized, and pretty much randomly. Or you'd have to be goofing off and convincing yourself that downloading more money making ebooks is actually productive work. Gotta find the balance and start using your noggin' correctly my friend.

ughh more than 3 years... started when i was 17... close to million dollars overall... not to bad I dont think..
 
I'm a Newbie here... I new nothing about IM,Period. Just new that I loved the concept of making money online after I found out about it. After about 2 and a half to 3 months I made my first sale... It only took 7 hops on Halloween (It was IM related e-book). My Method for now is Just trying everthing I can, but doing it one at a time and giving it 100%... Then I rotate my marketing methods... For example I'm using clickbank to start with untill I get more experience. So I wrote articles. Didn't work.. Tried SEO on a blog. No sales... PPC..No Sales... Forum Marketing and bingo... First sale! (through sig) Any way a friend introduced me to BHW and I can say it is by far the best forum I've ever seen.. Once I learn coding and so forth...Watch out.. But long story short Don't think you should quit.

Yes Morpheus, everything you say is exactly right.

The worse thing about it is that people see me working so hard and getting nothing out of it. I literally try and find ways of making money from 9 o'clock in the morning till 3 the next morning. I thing it is that i am searching for income that can sustain me and my family, rather than make a little here and a little there. I think this is something to do with working for big companies for 30 years or so and not being versatile enough where money is concerned. If i was left on the streets with nothing - i would definitely snuff out. Very weak and not disciplined - as an independent person is.

Almost still a product of the corporate environment. I am only sitting here because i had anxiety and panics and could no longer get on transport to go to work anymore. I was actually a high earner in London ($150K per year) - but that is all history.

Saying this... i will never give up. I cannot --- this is the only thing i can do right now and i will keep going and going and going.

But i do realize my thinking is all wrong and i guess that's one of the reasons i am opening up here. Although my pride told me to do it this way around.

I totally understand you man. Personally, i don't have much time to work on BH, only 0.5 - 1 hour in a day or two. But I am also in this for some time now. I also did not have much success but its ok! The biggest pain of all is as you said, working so hard and getting nothing back. Makes you feel kinda of strange and personally I also feel a bit angry with myself :). However, I think is a good idea to try and identify your problems and work on those. For example, I know that my problem is that i really, seriously and utterly hate writing anything else than code. I only like programming. So this is my disadvantage and the biggest factor of my ongoing non-success :D I spent most of my hours programming auto scripts to do one thing or another but at the end of the day they are useless because I don't have any sales page to pull money off!

I think another reason is because there are so many many many factors in this game that need so much testing in order to make them work right.

Finally dont forget that some people are successful in this game because they have people that they trust, giving them guidelines. This is a huge headstart.

So yes, my hat off to you because you had no problem writing about your on-going misfortune. You are not alone :)
 
The main thing evertbody has to know is basically one word : OUTSOURCE working hard in IM is unuseful indians can do the boring work. If you like finding new way to get moeny like me do it and then ask some indians to do the job for you. You can find them for cheap on dp for like 1$/hour . I earn huge money doing this and working 3 hours a day reading bhw and having fun coding cookie stuffing scripts
 
If you worked fulltime for $50 in 15 months you are a moron. Really, you could not finish 2 whole articles a month for AC? Shit you could have found a service to offer in this forum and made $1000 already

So why not just sell your services in the appropriote forum sections.You can create programs for blackhatters, games, socialsites, etc. Do what you do best. I dont see how you cant have money if you follow these rules.

Because I cannot have enough time to make my BH tools as good as the 'commercial' ones that are already selling...
 
Made close to 600$ this week :) on 2 sites so I am not doin to bad....
 
I gotta be harsh, but all I can say is get into the game! Try a method and just go all out. Get out of bhw if needed to do. Make a plan, follow the plan. test the plan. If it fails, I guarantee you, you will be so much smarter after.

It's all I do, know i've scaled up to a crazy level. I was (and still am) not the smartest marketer out there, but I leveraged and I worked.

Get rich schefren's latest report ( i even forgot the name) it basically says, do not look at potentials or what ifs, study your success and get rid of your constraints.

Example in your situation: how did you make your $40? Study it! Try it again! Try harder! or look for the RIGHT constraint or problem that's keeping you from earning/growing! just taking what you've said that you've been "working at it" without results. Here is what I gather, you are studying too much instead of just fumbling around and making mistakes and correcting them.

2. You need to study your success and replicate it.

Sorry if i am a bit too harsh, but you are one of the people who can make it since after all this time you're still plugging away. Best advice. Get in the game. Play! Don't go into the sidelines (ie forum) and bitch about it all day. It's ok to go to forums, but don't do it as your main thing. It is something that you do with your extra time.

Now go forth and make gold! :)

well feel bad for You. Hmm just do some adsense and send some traffic to your blogs. It will make at least few bucks a day. better than 40$ in 15 months.
 
I really think you need to consider a career change, and possibly anti-anxiety medication. If you haven't worked out how to make money on the net in over a year of trying, it's time to turn off the computer and spend a while evaluating what you really want to do with your life.
 
Yes true, but i know it will click in my head one day. Once i am doing something really practical and seeing return, everything will be up, up and away. The problem is taking affirmative action and actually going through the paces of making things happen.

I guess i learnt by watching other people before and then once i was going - things went like a rocket from there and there was no stopping me. But i was always the producer running around doing the management stuff, when designers, marketers, testers and developers were doing their thing.

Working alone is a whole new experience for me because there is no physical beings to bounce ideas off. I work very much in a creative capacity, but its pretty difficult when all i have to relate to is a 15inch computer monitor.

When i get going i know i will make a lot of money. Its just the first step and then i will be away with the rest of the guys here.

I'm almost 1 year, but learning.. now I have some solid $150/month.. not much, but working this.

Yea, you see. Its one of the difficulties i have had - where i hear one thing is hot and then someone else says - its not so hot!

I guess i am by nature very suggestible - so i have had to rein myself in and then of course by doing so - i don't end up doing anything.

15 months = $40? That's insane. I sneeze on my keyboard and make $40 and I'm not a full timer, but when I make money attempts, I make money. I don't think you've done 15 months of IM full time. I don't give a fuck how many times you've failed, if you're doing this full time even with the shittiest advice around you should be making at least a couple of thousand a month. If you've been doing something for more than a couple of months and not making money why would you continue? The internet is fast, it's now, it's not pay me in 2 years.

I'll definately check it out when I have some money and time...Work two jobs..Learning what I can for free for now and 3w for now...

P.S. Saw your post about the panic attacks. I believe there are some affiliate programs with clickbank that are related. Maybe try article marketing...since you have experience in that area you should be able to touch base with that market. Just a thought.
