I've been thinking today that i must be better than everyone else at something.

And i think i found it!

Although i have been ill, I have been working on the Internet full-time for about 14 months now and in all that time i have made $20 on AC and $18.00 on adsense. I pound away day and night on my keyboard downloading and researching and talking and making loads of blogs and yet in all that time - not even $40. Its because my brain doesn't operate right.

I am lucky that my wife went out to work else i wouldn't still have these four walls around me.

So i thought i'd cheer myself up today and see if anyone can beat my record.

To recap thats............< $40 Fulltime for 14-15 months.

I know i am a half wit and its even worse that i used to make (a serious amount) of money as software product manager.

Can you better that anyone?

Ouch, sorry buddy but you definitely have me beat by a huge margin there. All I can say is keep reading here, testing and one day things will click and start falling into place. By the way I wouldn't put too much time in to pushing adsense.

This might be bad advice - But instead of researching the hell out of a specific topic, why not just try diving into something and seeing what happens? I've only been on here for a few weeks but I've already got you beat, and I feel like this is only the tip of the iceberg. You don't sound like an idiot based on your post... Keep hammering away at it!

in 15 months you can make way more then 40 bucks, like say an article a day for 15 months on associated content. 30x15x1.50-4+ = 675-1,800+... But hope you get better luck.. just stay dedicated bro

look into some of the Craigslist tactics on this forum, they work almost immediately and require no investment

The problem falls in walking in someone elses footsteps with ebooks and generic scripts.


1: Get an idea you want to follow, put everything you got for time into it.

2: If it takes off its meant to be and you have your heart and soul into it.

3: if it doesnt take off sell it on DP or sitepoint and maybe someone can turn it into a great idea.


I'm up way more then I was up this year just because of a few good ideas that I thought were worthless when first thought of.

If you wrote an article per day that sold for $3 you would see a 3424.2 % increase in earnings.

actually alot of VIP's don't make money in IM, they spend so much time on here they don't do anything.

Why not just go freelance and build up a name for yourself? good writers get $25 an article and if you can find 5 clients a day, thats $45k a year income for like 3-4 hours a day working!

The most important think is that you haven't given up. You did say you were ill, so I suppose it's your illness that has been holding back, and the reason your wife has not gotten mad with you.

Rudy concentrate on one item at a time and push that. Sometimes we are all unindated by other marketers to see the latest software or ebook, know all about the latest method to make money and this can set you aside from your original action plan.
