Who Here Uses Dual (Or More) Monitors?

i need some advice ---

i got 2 pcs. 1 is hdmi my games pc
1 is vga my bhw pc .
monitor is a vga / hmdi socket ...

how can i run both desktop pcs
through the 1 monitor - tired of
changing cables

Get a monitor who overs VGA and HDMI Socket and connect both to him.

Also most Desktops have a change input/output menu, some are even more comfortable with just one button.

I mainly use my 2nd monitor for my VPS, so I have that anyway. Left monitor is VPS - right monitor is my local machine

mine is the other way round, right monitor for vps and left for local machine. anyone know how i can make the taskbar appears on both screen?

edit to add i think display fusion can do this.

I have 4 monitors, 3- 21" and a 27" in the back for my VPS. I Use 2 external video cards that plug in via USB.. I piece-mealed this set up, maybe on day I'll buy a super computer with 6 monitors...

My opinion - 2 monitors is a must, just for efficiency sake. 3+ makes work more manageable but also allows for constant distractions i.e. a screen with streaming video feed.

when i try and click the input button on the monitor with
2 pcs attached to it all i get is a box saying duel monitor
software not installed

but 2 pcs on 1 monitor isnt duel monitoring

I can't really see myself going over 2 monitors. What's the reason for your brother using 6?

"Why would I need two displays?" was my question when I had only one display.

"Why would I need three displays?" was my question when I had two displays.

"Why my life sucks so hard?" is my question when I only have one (laptop) display.

You might not see any use for it at first, but really when you have like one display for 1/2/3 software, you save shitload of time when switching between them all. It's also way more easy to keep track of them all, when you don't actually have to remember what your three-second-notification just told you - you always actually see it.

Personally I'm currently in a dire situation because I tend to travel/move around a lot, and thus cannot really carry around many displays, and laptop is just all I can take, but I'm looking into getting an extra display or two to make my work easier.

I could not live without dual monitors anymore....started using them about 4 years ago, and it makes me much more efficient

Dual
1 plugged in to analog output of card and another to digital.
Both works and i used windows extended desktop. One for youtube informative videos and other for work.

So one DVI and one VGA, mine is the same.

One thing is haven't got down yet is exactly matching the color of the 2 monitors.

Im going to do dual and eventually hex monitors after I get a office, and a new pc setup. I used to think that a big tv is better, but realized its still only 1920x1080p and the inches do not matter. Wheras smaller multiple monitors at same resolution allow for more area.
