Whitehat & Linkwheels

I just put together a good whitehat site and I am looking to get a jump on ranking. I have adsense on my site and I have not used a linkwheel with whitehat and I am a little worried that it will effect my adsense.

Should I not be worried and do some high quality linkwheels on this site to jump start it?

Linkwheels blow chunks.

What is your alternative then?
