The seo which follows all the terms and condition of a google is called whitehat. Doing seo without following Google terms and conditions is known as blackhat.

White Hat SEO Follow the guide Line of search engine optimization. it is mainly used by the professionals and black hat is used by anonymous and fake users they spam all the the time on forums and social networking sites .

White hat seo i genuine way of doing seo where is black hat is completely opposite.
 
If you want your site to stay long, rank high, permanent URLS go with White hat.
Duration is long :)

Black hat is method where everything is done on quick basis by acquiring the Google Algo loopholes :)
 
Both have effective benefits. And the debates are heated.
Personally, I prefer White Hat, since it's a bit less work.
Once you set everything up, and do the foundational work, a few real backlinks and you're ranking.

Black Hat is great, but SO much work since Google is always changing things.
Targeting loopholes becomes really tiring since it changes all the time.

"Black Hat" is usually for casino niches and people pushing dick pills... internet marketers come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

It's interesting to say the least, some people just don't care about dragging down others for a profit. In the end there are tons of large corporations that take part in "Black Hat" tactics, they're just very quaint about it.

White hat seo Follow the Guide line of search engine. Update the Fresh content, Images, video, Blog creation etc.
Black Hat seo does not follow the Guide line of search engine. black hat SEO techniques include keyword stuffing, invisible text, doorway pages, adding unrelated keywords to the page content or page swapping (changing the webpage entirely after it has been ranked by search engines).
 
Black Hat usually means taking shortcuts that may piss off Google. White Hat means doing things Google would approve of to rank. White hat techniques are more likely to rank you long-term. If you use black hat techniques, you should do so in moderation, and not exclusively.
 
Build Search engine presence around Google's guidelines -----> Whitehat
Exploit Google's Loopholes and build search engine presence around them --------> Blackhat

I guess you've already understood the difference. I can add only one thing. It's a SEO art to mix whitehat and blackhat and not to be penalized by Google. That's why not every SEO worker you can call a specialist.
 
Black hat is something that will help you get ranked faster but yet may not give the results that stick. Whitehat takes lots of time but the results can be pretty good.
