White Hat SEO - Article Writer ...

Hello, let me tell you my story in short.
I'm freelancer whole life, I know a lot, but I know nothing.

I'm too easy to carry away, so I got fast headache surfing on the internet. I read so much about stuff, that on the end I end up knowing less ...

I bought site, 2 years ago, site is about cameras, photography, and everything connected, was written as a blog. Idea was to continue writing articles as guy before me started, but now with new google penguin and etc., and less writing on our side we end up from 1.400 UV to 400-500 UV, profit went down from $400-500 per month to $30-$50, I don't see logic in it, if visits dropped 3 times, why profit went down 10 times ?

I beg you to help me out. Treat me as noob, silly guy. Please give me some guidance, good links, but something that could really help me, as I got lost in all this.
I even at this moment have over 100 tabs oppened in all of my browsers, and I have 3 browsers (Firefox for secure things, opera for less important, and chrome for everything else).

I have list in Word, for every article I would write, that I know to write, but now it's time to decide which of those would bring traffic back. How to make REALLY GOOD keyword research.
Site is PR4. But visits are dropping.

Thing is, I know that quality content is important, but I'm not native English speaker, writer, so I I'm not sure if I can write that kind of engaging, great style articles that would make you read more, etc.

I'm not sure where to start, I'm not sure what happened, I know that we (friend and me) write less on site, but for example, I have disqus comment system on that wordpress site, since that plugin, less and less comments got on site, not sure is it cause of some penalty or that plugin.

How to get good quality content and earn from it as before ? Site could earn good money, but paying for no results is really killing me softly

I'm on the edge with everything, I will get sick for sure. I don't want to troll or anything here. I'm desperate to do something, I'm willing to put on a side some $$ for somebody who will help me to get this trough to give me quality advice and help with the site.

Idea is: either to find some consistency with this site and make it earn money and keep it, or to make big boom, put it back where it was and sell it.

If site was able to earn before, it is able to earn now as well.

I know that. But that is issue, what to search, where to start, if I go on my own, I get lost, there are just too many things.
After I wrote this post, I took pen and blank paper and started to write, made diagram. Something that would help me what is most important where to start.

I wish that somebody would just give me some idea where to start. For example, how to really learn about keywords, there is just too much material and I can't decide which one is really important.

The fact that your site's earnings dropped 10 times is totally normal. I guess that you have monetized the website with Google Adsense? Well, with Adsense, if a site gets a good amount of clicks, it is more appealing to the advertisers, and as it's a bidding network, they'll have to bid more to get their ads to be shown on your site, leading to higher CPC and total earnings.

Also, you'll definitely need quality content to get your traffic back up. Unless you can pay $25 or more for a single article, I wouldn't recommend to buy articles as you cannot really buy quality articles at a cheap price.

I'd recommend to keep on writing articles yourself, but start to use some kind of a proofreading service. Look around on Fiverr for proofreading gigs. Some of them offer to proofread and edit up to 2000 words for $5.

Ok, maybe that is what I need, proofreading.
Site earns on amazon and affiliate in general the most, adsense is low profit part that doesn't concerns me at all.

internet higly volitile market place and with wolf like google u are always in danger.any ways it depends on your strategy are you want to make your page or website ranking to improve through which channel like adsense or via organic way.If your budget is low I dont recomend to go for google add sense because they charge your per click and if you dont make any sale you end up with hefty bills.So go for organic way to improve your site there are plenty of guys in balackhatword forum they can help you out.

Rent home page links and you be back at $500/month in no time (I am talking about you renting links on your site)

Maybe overoptimization? Check that every second word on your site isn't the keyword you are looking to attract.

There are some websites that can analyze your backlink profile with anchor texts, even google webmaster tools does that. See that the keywords you are going for aren't overrepresented.

And you dont need good english to write quality articles, browsers and blog systems offer spellchecks. Just write your articles in an enganging style like the big buzz sites. Almost all their articles are like "the 5 best ways to make good photos" or "the 10 best pictures ever", silly toplists like that attract readers.

No I'm careful about keywords, I use Easy SEO, and I have only 2% keyword phrase repeat ratio through whole article.

I believe I just need to get some grammar and spell checker, and post just more and more ...

How many articles do you write in a day? Google tend to love sites with huge content these days.
As google's result is completely hard to predict, I suggest you starting a thread offering your writing skills service... so that you have some funds to start over. Just my 2 cents
