Which would rank better for a domain

Lets say I make a website, lets call it hotmoneymaker.com

my targeted keyword for this site is "Hot Money Maker" for search engines.

now, hot money maker is nice. yes? BUT (Lets assume both pages contain the exact quality of SEO, backlinks, etc)

what about www.hotmoneymaker.com/hotmoneymaker?

Would that page rank higher than the first? Simply because it contains the keyword twice?

Opinions? Experience? GIB

My innerpage like that outranks the main page on the site I tried that on.
