Hi, I want to edit my video for YouTube but i don't know which software is good for beginners. And it should be free please.

wondershare Filmora is very beginer friendly (for windows) or iMovie if you have mac, both are very easy to use. I personally started with these 2 and now I use final cut pro

Fimora and Movavi are the best video editors if you are making videos for You Tube. But since you wanted FREE editors then you should go for OpenShot Video Editor (https://www.openshot.org/). It is a basic software that will fulfil most of your needs.

I’ve gathered a list of free/freemium video editing apps/software.
- Video editing software without watermarks. Here & here are options to buy Adobe products for much cheaper on the BHW marketplace. Outside of Adobe products, here are a few free options:
- Blender
- Shotcut
- KdenLive
- VSDC
- Openshot
- LightWorks, free to start with.
- Davinci Resolve, free version.
- Avidemux, basic editor, only listing for reference. Still works.
- Clipify

Start with Adobe Premier, and change your workspace to Education mode.
Really, any of the software is good. As far as paid software goes, Adobe Premiere I can recommend. Sony Vegas Pro is good but I found it to be a little more difficult than Premiere although this was 7 years ago and could have changed. I haven't used them but if you are using Linux than kdenlive and is free. Also DaVinci Resolve seems like a great free option.

Capcut is free and available on desktop as well as mobile. It is a little light on effects and processing compared to some $$$ options but for somebody learning the ropes it's really easy to learn. For being free it's incredibly good. The desktop version has a lot more features typical of editing software. The mobile version is simplified and geared more towards making instagram and tiktok type content.

I'd suggest starting with Adobe Premiere - it might not be the easiest, but it's easy enough to get a hang in a couple of days and as a result you'll have enough horsepower for the forseeable future.
