which social network will be the next big thing?

I know everyone is going to say pinterest, but thats already big. I thought google plus would be bigger than it is, what other networks are still mainly unknown but will be huge soon?
This would be great to know for acquiring page names or to see how we should adjust to be prepared.

Google plus has actually recently just surpassed twitter, which was quite surprising for many.
 
social networks already were "the next big thing".. they are past already..

something completely different will be "the next big thing"
 
After Pinterest its is going to be Instapaper, Snip.it, Clipboard, and Curisma besides many others. Lots of them coming up, hard to say which one will win.

i agree.
someone is going to create a whole new "wave" for the internet that will be a little bit different than social networks.
i don't know what it is yet, maybe i will create it :)

ya, that's a pretty big surprise but they already had so many gmail users.. they just converted them to google plus users. But even if google plus has more users, I doubt they get more traffic and total usage.

It's odd seeing Google+ surpass Twitter. It's hardly talked about, but the new YouTube forces you on it
 
gmail and youtube force you onto google plus. I'm even on google plus just but I never use it. I joined myself, but I have few other email accounts and youtube accounts that automatically joined
 
Google+ is only there because anyone or any bot who opens a google account also gets added into plus.

I have just seen someone on twitter talking about being on twiendly.com - seems to be a "bolt -on" profile for twitter. Perhaps piggie-backs are the next big thing?
 
Mobile has been the next big thing, and as far as mobile goes my vote is for vine right now.
 
Forgot the name but there's a new one coming out & Facebook is trying to copy them implementing the same twist in the next coming months.

Right now social networking sites do not make you any money, this one will allow you to earn 80% of the earnings I think they're in beta already around 500K users? Interesting to see how it goes after launch. (someone remind me of the name I remember reading an article online)

Keek is also good but after making an account & using imacros to achieve 50K followers .. let's just say they are all 12-16 year olds which is basically worthless to me & everyone else on here unless your running a nursery or a children's website.

This will be interesting... It could have some potential, and even if FB adapts its main features, I can't see Mr. Zuckerberg implementing a proper way to earn with his beloved website. If anything, it will be like youtube+adsense, where users will get banned on a daily basis for "invalid clicks" :)
